I'm entering Standard in a DDR tournament next week (would enter Heavy, but even LOWER HEAVY is filled with people with lots of AAs on 9-footers AAAs.)
What I'm looking for are obscure Standard songs that are actually pretty tough to PA (or especially tough to sight-read.) Sweet Sweet <3 Magic is a good example of one, Xenon is another.
DO NOT SUGGEST MAXES, PARANOIAS, OR TRIP MACHINES. I know all those songs are hard for Standard songs, I'm looking for more obscure ones.
I also already know about HVAM and Orion 78 CivMix.

Ska A Go Go Standard. Fairly easy but extremely fun cause of the 86 and 42 trills at the end.

Synchronized Love is a pain in the ass for a 5-footer. Candy <3 is also interesting because of the weird freeze/step combos, and even a forced crossover in there.
Edit: Didn't see the part about no Maxes. My bad.
Edit again: Another good one might be Across the Nightmare. It's a 6-footer, but it's at 300 bpm. The double-taps drive me insane. And finally, Captain Jack Grandale Mix is a 7-footer with random runs and sixteenths scattered liberally throughout.

No doubt about it, Captain Jack (the song) is a reasonable 7-footer on standard. The streams of 8ths are extremely fun, and not all that all hard to AAA with correct timing. This song is fun and won me a tournament too! Except it was on heavy!

Despite the fact of it being a 5 footer, Rain of Sorrow can be a real pain in the ass if you aren't good at multiple rhythms. Not only that, but the streams are pretty decent length, and they mix with freeze arrows too.
