Anyone anime artists?

I'm just curious, but does anyone draw anime as a serious hobbie. I don't have a scanner so I can't show any of my drawings :(, just curious.

P.S. I don't like anime or manga, how ironic eh? but I do use them as tools, like for ideas

And no, drawing anime is not a serious hobbie of mine, it isnt even a hobbie of mine. However, drawing is one of my hobbies. I would hardly consider anyone who draws anime an artist though. I mean, say you give someone asprin, that doesnt make you a doctor does it?

very good point.. but i think they are artists. so hey maybe your not the painter of the mona lisa it doesnt matter because art is a talent. lol and no giving someone a asprin isnt a talent i can almost be sure that everyone could give someone a asprin. and maybe im wrong but isnt hobbie hobby? maybe its cause im a canadian but did you spell it wrong?
