Easy to Standard

Hey Folks... im pretty new to this but the one thing im findin so far is the jump from easy to standard... Im finding the Easy difficulty songs not so challenging anymore.. but the Standard ones kinda out of my league.... what im gettin at i guess is it maybe due to one hand vs two?.. or should i just hit back to the old songs and shape up the skills some more?

Do songs in Standard that you can't complete but can get like half way through, you'll improve naturally until you get it.
