$99 is a bit much for just the game, and one pad. You could pay almost just as much, if you were to go to a game store, and buy the game and 2 pads. A game and one pad at a store somewhere, might run you about $70-85 if you go to the right place. Shop around some more-you might even find a better price than that.

Yeah, I'm looking for a good pad though, not a crappy $20 one. Since the game is $40 most places, basically what I'm asking is: is the Ignition pad worth $60 (which is essentially what I'd be paying for just the pad?)

it;s not worth it. trust me. I have 2 Naoki pads, and together they were about 50. And the naoki pads look better than the Ignition pad. thay have the x, triangle, square, and circle buttons, and as far as durability goes, i use them all the time, and they're still nor messed up yet, and i've had them for 1 1/2 years. So, i don't think the Ignite pads are that good anyway...soooooooo not worth it.

Hmm.....60 day money back guarantee. I think i'd like the raised buttons. When I was playing on a soft pad once I got mad that I could never feel if I was on the button or not. Granted, it was my first time playing DDR on a pad though.

I have imitation ignition pads that I got off eBay for 60 bucks or something like that. I love them. If that is an authentic RedOctane ignition pad, i'd say it'd be worth it.

ignition pad = SUCK ASS.. i had one.. it broke with a month.. and with only regular play too... of course the push from behind by my brother causing me to step and a break the black plastic part on the front of it didn't really mush either... i suggest getting the game used for like 20... then saving up a little more and buying a metal pad... they're so much better and they dont move... you can probably find them around $130 up to about $225 for one pad... but its well worth i would seel you my metal pads.. but they're also broke and im too lazy to get them fixed...
