Yeah, Jean Paul II was probably one of the best popes yet. His reign was not fraught with corruption, and in my eyes, that's a good thing. Plus, he was very much an advocate of peace in this world, and a humanitarian at heart, to be sure.
I sure hope the next one is as good.

Yea my mom called me upstaires to see on the news that he died. The Pope was very good and I know he'll make it into heaven. =D. My mom is making me go to church tomarrow because he died, anyone else?

The past two years have sucked. Many important people have died in the celebrity world and in my personal life. I got a text message from aolalerts exactly one minute after he died. I was surprised how quickly it came, but I was like "Wow...". The Pope was a great man, and it's a shame that such a good man in many ways had to pass on. Hopefully our next pope can be at least half of what he was.

No. What I meant was that in 2004 and 2005 important people have died. Celebrity-wise or well known: Reagan, Reeves, the Pope. Personal life: My Friend Zan, my grandpa, my rabbit. Etc. I've never experienced so many deaths of people who meant something to me in such a short period of time.
