Negi Springfield, 10 years old, graduated from magic school in Wales, UK and is sent to Japan to complete his "training." He becomes an English homeroom teacher for the All-Girls Mahora Academy Middle School Campus class "2-A." (8th Grade)

This show is absolutely HILARIOUS. Though I admit it is slightly perverse at times, you shall not be disappointed by its sheer comedy.

Give it a go, see if you like it. I think the creator also did Love Hina if I'm not mistaken.

I already talked to Kefit about it and you know what, he's just a manga person. He always complains that the anime can't compare to the manga, but you can't just say that because he'll list examples of shows that aren't.

In any event, it seems like the current loop of episodes will get us to know more characters individually again. I like these kinds of episodes.

I really want this show to go to 39 or 52.

Nah, there are some animes that are far better than the manga they are based on. Angelic Layer is a prime example of this. However, it is generally true that the original work is better than the adaptation.

Mahou Sensei Negima anime sucks because it has horrible animation and art, and almost all of the fanservice from the manga has been removed.

The manga is easily my favorite among what I am currently reading though. It is awesome. <3 Konoka

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to go with Kefit on this one. Negima the anime suffers from the same problems that Love Hina had: the removal of the fanservice and the horrible production of the episodes. Love Hina did not follow the original storyline and from what I've watched on Negima, neither does this either. Now I love anime, but when you remove my borderline child pornography/hentai shots from the anime, then I'm mad. Akamatsu-san seriously needs to be more involved with the studios that animate his wonderful mangas before we see a horrible anime version of A.I. Love You or something. :(

For example, my friend Charles loves to watch anime dubbed in English, but I like watching Subbed with Japanese. Does this make him or me better than the other. No. So let's just enjoy the flame before it becomes another Manga V.S. Anime thread.

And OMG WTF.

Pretty much it. Some idiot spoiled the episode for me weeks ago, but it was still a shocker.

I gave up on AnCo. With the way this show was ending, I was not about to sit around another three months waiting for them to finish.

The ending was excellent. I especially liked the (spoiler?)Pactio made with every girl in the class. Hilarious.

I have all the manga for Negima and its funny as hell (especially vol#1). From what I've heard, the anime should arrive sometime in 2006. If its anything like the manga, I have a lot to look forward to!
