Video games are not heroin. And Halo2 is not very good, while you are at it.

The best part about this whole thing was his last sentence, and the fact that it's in Critical Thinking.

This is, to some extent, true. Playing video games, especially in situations where you're faced with losing a lot of game time (IE, most bosses in Ninja Gaiden for Xbox), adrenaline will begin pumping into your system, and the adrenal glands will overload, creating a euphoric high.
Yes, you can become addicted if you're faced with these situations that release endorphins enough. It's not a serious condition, but eventually you'll fail to achieve the same high you had when you started. Take me, for instance. I've been playing Ninja Gaiden for 2 years, and I stopped getting the high. I've since gone out and fought crime in a ninja costume with a katana and shurikens. This produces the high.
When the high wears off from Halo 2, I sugguest manually building a Needler gun and a Plasma Sword, and going to town on your neighborhood kids. When they become no challange, feel free to enter into "The Arena" (Consult your Yellow Pages. Occasionley, ball park stadiums in the off season turn into Arenas, but be sure to call and check first), a tournament area specially designed for people with the same addiction. I fought my first real ninja there, and that's where I lost my left hand fingers. I've been typing this one handed, and right now, the spelling and grammar streak I have going is sending adrenaline through my veins like no other.
I've consulted many medical journals about the condition caused by video games, and found a name. It's called Aldrenefrenses Syndrome. This happens to sky divers, or any other extreme sports/video game enthusiast that gets addicted to Adrenaline. I know I've resorted to stealing Adrenaline Essence from woodland creatures to satiate my needs. I use my ninja skill of the Flying Sparrow to capture multiple Essences, before unleashing a Ultimate Technique on an unsuspecting squirrel, getting the maximum bang for my buck.
Although it is an addiction, it is in no way close to Heroin. Heroin makes you feel like you have bugs in your veins. Do you feel like you have bugs in your veins when you play Halo? If so, consult a physician. You may have bugs in your veins.
God help you with your addiction... I know I'm too far gone to get help... But you can get help while there's still time.

Read his last line again. Then you'll see why people are posting these things.

Of all people, Kilga, I'd expect the mod to stop this madness. Even if it is a horribly stupid (yet legitamate) question you should let it be answered. The taunting that went on in here should not be tolerated, especially in CT.
You all disgust me.
