    RE: Smart Bird?

African Greys are some of the coolest birds in the world.

    But whoa.

Anyways, did you know that seagulls (and maybe crows as well) are the only birds that know that windows are solid? In New York city, they have been known to chase other birds into windows of skyscrapers to break their knecks. Then, they eat them.

Crows have been seen to exhibit behavior that includes chasing rodents into the street, heh. They gather together on one side of the road where they are across from a rabbit or another animal, then a couple crows scare it into the path of a vehicle.

    Signature subject to change.

    THE ZERRRRRG.

That's really not that impressive. Just vocal command tricks. Like telling a dog to sit and it sits. It's the same idea, except rather than sitting, it's making the sound of a monkey.

My god, this site is so stupid, you can so tell it's the girl talking for the bird. How can none of you realize this. They always zoom in on the thing, and it sounds like the girl alot. strange

birds mimic the sound they hear and say, and since the girl probably taught it, yea...

                  RE: Smart Bird?

TPS, This isn't BS. That is in front of a live audiece, and she has only one microphone, which she puts infront of the bird, so how would she talk for it? Also, she didn't just walk on, she had an audition with animal planet people before she did this show. Plus, that is an educational channel, not a hoax channel. So the source is trustworthy. Trust me. You are just paranoid. Never play a TWG game, you will be the worst at it.

The African Grey is one of the startest and most vocal of the birds.
This African Grey is just a mimicer.
I have seen one that could recognize colors and numbers of things it had never see. You can give it something it had never seen it could tell you the color. Not a mimic, but actually something it has never seen. Also if you put out four of an object, it can tell you that there are 4, even if it has never seen that object before.

Also you could give it something that it knew, and say "what is this" it would pick up the little matchbox car, fiddle around with it, and say 'truck'
being the word that it knew for that thing. This bird could tell you that all the matchbox and hotwheels cars were 'truck'. Even though they were different colors, or had differences in shape a little.

Einstien just mimics from a vocal command.

yea i actually saw that on Pet Star about a month ago and that bird was crazy...did you notice that b4 it did some sounds it did sounds from earlier...it must be really hard to learn about 50 sounds and mimic them correctly in front of an audience...i cant believe that 1 judge gave her a 9 instead of a 10 so she got a 29

The bird did mess up once or twice, because the croud cheering, it didn't hear the commands perfectly.

@ Cenright: Look at sig. I have been doing well in TWG. It just doesn't look real. I don't know, just my opinion. Though, it does move it's mouth.
