...Yo. ....just found out a week ago that I'm moving to Japan, so.. yeah. Haven't been around much. My friends threw me a going-away party
all weekend in a cabin.. about half the school showed up >)
And since I'm not leaving for another couple months, we get to do it
again. Bwaha.

Anyone here in Japan right now? =P. When I leave, I won't have Scorpio to call homeboy, so I need someone new >(.

I know that I am a Japanese fanboy. And right now there is nothing I can do about it. I hate the fact that could be considered an "Otaku", the very people I despise.

NO... you missed the whole point of my post... you can like japanese things.. i like japanese things... that doesnt make you a poser... that makes you like jewpin said about him self a fanboy/girl.... being a poser is likeing something just because its different... wanting to learn japanese for the soul purpose of just learning it to impress others is being a poser... likeing anime and getting all these imports so people will think your cool is being a poser....

I'm not learning Japanese for the soul purpose to impress people, or trick them into thinking I'm Japanese. I'm 6'3", white, and hairy, it's not like I'm fooling anyone. But I do plan on becoming an animator....no I dont plan on going to Japan and animate anime....but a lot of animation is done over seas. Also, Japanese looks really good on your resume.

How does liking something just because its different make you a poser? I like japanese culture and history, I think its interesting. I want to learn japanese because its interesting to me, not because I want to be japanese. I don't like every single little thing about japan, just because its japanese, hello kitty makes me sick.
Just because people like Japanese culture, don't automatically assume that they want to be japanese.
ok.. so your not anything like i describe which ecludes you from the poser catagory....
