that's aeirs (Yes, I know it's spelt wrong) one of the main charicters in FF7, I hate her because she's an incompetent wuss :). FF7 is in the top 3 for best RPGs of all time IMO

Cloud did suck. One of the crappiest characters ever. I didn't believe that "I lost my memory". If the gameplay and overall story weren't so totally whicked awesome, FFVII would have sucked. Cloud's story was bull crap and you all know it.

I think Aeris is very pretty, compared to the Tifa (she looks too.. slutty).

1 aeris......not main character. just a major character. would be main but she got killed at the end of the first disc.
2. cloud rules but he is too dramatic and his memory loss is a way to show the effects of the jenovia mutations used on SOLDIER.
3. tifa is the best. shes a bartender wit huge tits....what more could u want???

I'll take a shot at it.

Cloud legitimately DID lose his memory, not only that, he got really screwed up psychologically. Remember how he thought he was Zack, and he thought that all the stuff that Zack did, he did? Because he witnessed Sephiroth go nuts, kill Tifa's dad, burn the town (enough of a traumatic experience to begin with), etc. Not only THAT, but he was extremely shameful of not making SOLDIER, so shameful that he wouldn't even take off his helmet in front of Tifa. Then he soaked in a tub of mako for days and days and days.

(Remember the freakish monsters in the Nibelheim Mako reactor, outside the Jenova room? They were created because they were soaked in Mako too...)

So you've got a traumatized guy, shameful of who he is, soaking in a tub of volatile chemicals that screw up both body and brain. He's going to end up with an identity crisis!

I thought Cloud was very cool and very complex.

It wouldn't sell except to people that wanted FF7-2 to be like "Mop up monsters to make better world". GOD, I SWEAR THAT PLOT MAKES ME SICK THINKING ABOUT IT!

i played 7 and 9 all the way through. story for 9 sucked... but i did like the monsters that roamed the world map... whatever they were called.

That was Ultima Weapon ( flies around ) and the one under the water was Emerald Weapon i think, and the desert one i think, im not too sure but i think it was Ruby Weapon.

Yes, that was there names. By killing Emerald Weapon you get the Earth Harp or LUnar Harp, I forget it's name. For beating Ruby Weapon you get the Desert Rose. And with either of those you take the items to the Kalm Traveller(A guy in Kalm) and he gives you a goldne chocobo for the desert rose and all the master materia for the earth harp thingy. You fight Ultima Weapon 7 times. The last time is over Cosmo Canyon and by defeating him you get the Ultima Sword and you may now walk to the crazy ass forest with the frogs and whatnot where you get the Excalibur which is kickass for leveling up Materia, I mastered KotR twice with it so far...

Ruby weapon was the hardest because you have to kill it with only 1 guy. So what you do is kill off your two weaker characters (Not Cloud) and tehn you just like, cast KotR alot or somethin....

This is a lil late but i know you guys hate the story about FF7 but u gotta see the symbolism of it. The story of Final Fantasy 7 is about life and love. It shows that every does have a purpose in life and that no matter what they think. there is always someone out there who cares about them.

Seph was a badass no doubt but he was a villain and a villain is never to be a main character especially for FF7 Cloud was excellent and nothing should be changed

oh and by the way there is no worst character because everyone can be used for omething except maybe Tifa shes a cool character but not of much use i used cait sith to beat emerald and ruby weapon yay for instant kill dice :d hahahah
