It's good for some things, but otherwise it's just child's play. Move up to better programs.

If you're willing to get on a p2p program and download the program along with the cd-key sure it's free, but it's best to actually buy some of them. Acid Pro was around 80 bucks last time I saw, Reason's still around a good 200-300, and Cubase I'm not too sure of, but the prices are a good reminder that you should be sure working with music is what you want, otherwise everything will look so complicated.

Hey man FL isn't childs play (ignoring that I'm 14.)
It costs $150 if anyone cares.

Yes it honestly is for kids to learn, and I'd advise messing around with Reason first. Advertise your own song in your own thread.

I downloaded the Reason demo but it refused to give me sound output. There was a sign somewhere that said 'sound output off', and there was no way I saw to turn it on. And where did you hear FL is for kids?
Oh and sorry about the link- I just wanted to give a nice FL example. I'm new, as you can see.

You probably really don't have a sound output, your soundcard sucks, or you just need to go out and buy Reason.

reason is a gift from the gods. Load up with VSTs and VSTis, and you'll be unstoppable

I agree, Reason is pretty damn cool.

Try a program I use called Kristal Music. All you need to do is download Drum, Bass, Guitar loops and etc. and just drag and drop to make music. It's easier and cheaper than buying anything.

No offense, but you're right, it does sound pretty damn CHEAP when all you do is copy and paste music samples to make your own music.
