View Full Version : The Werewolf Game - End of Day 5 - Werewolf Team Victory

October 26th, 2004, 11:31 PM
The setting: The 11th century Irish countryside, in the sleepy town of Flarev. The town is a small farming community of only 15 families. Being such a small town as it is, the families naturally know each other very well. Long have they worked together to keep the town as prosperous as it has been, and the fall harvest is always most bountiful. Flarev has never been a place of economic interest, nor of trade, nor of any real concern to the outside world. It has heart, and tradition, and hope - and that is what the community thrives on.
It so happened that one day and one night saw the end of the idyllic peace that enraptured Flarev since its inception. The town was enshadowed one night by a lunar eclipse. The moon turned blood-red, and terror ran through the sinews of the town's more feeble-hearted denizens. Eerie, wolflike howls could be heard through the night, and few slept restfully. The next morning, as one of the fair young maidens of the town was drawing water from the town well, she let out a horrendous scream. For it was not water that filled the bucket she drew, but blood.
News of this quickly flooded the town like a trickle of water being poured over a flat dish. It was evident that there was dark magic at work in Flarev, but no one knew where the source was. Some suspected witchcraft, others thought it was the craft of the devil. But the entire town immediately became worried and suspicious. And, needless to say, everyone went to sleep uneasily that night. And still the wolflike howls penetrated the night air.
Regrettably, one family would never wake up from that sleep. For the townspeople awoke to notice that one of the 15 homes had been destroyed - the residence of The Q and his family. The door, covered in claw marks, had been ripped off its hinge and the sight inside the house was ghastly. Blood was strewn about the floor, and the corpses of The Q and his family were barely recognizable. Beds were ripped apart, tables were overturned, and the walls of the house looked on the verge of collapse. The only clues the townspeople found were 3 bloody sets of paw prints that led out of the house and then circled repeatedly around the cursed well.
Immediately the town elder called a meeting of the heads of the remaining families. Those present at the meeting were:
Aleco
CypherToorima
djshox
Flypie
GuidoHunter
IAmEric
Kenzya
Kilgamayan
Lightdarkness
Moogy
MrESqueek
QreepyBORIS
SleeplessDragon
TasselFoot
The elder speaks slowly, and carefully. "My friends, something has to be done about this peril we all face. I have heard many legends of the werewolves in times past. Surely these were-wolves, who quite clearly walk amongst us, will continue to tear us limb from limb if we do not do something."
"But how will we be able to determine who the wolves are?" asks Lightdarkness.
"You really can't," says the elder, "unless you were to wait around at night and watch for the wolves. And our homes are spread too far apart to be able to see the others from safety. Besides, you know our supply of candles is limited. Even if we were to find the wolves at night, it's unlikely that we would be able to match them in combat, for they can see in the dark. And could we even recognize our beloved friends in wolfish form?"
"Why are we the only ones assembled?" asks SleeplessDragon. "Couldn't the werewolves be our husbands, wives, and children?"
"I know much of werewolf lore," says the elder. "The werewolf curse selectively targets the masters of the family. It is said that the other members of the family cannot detect the duality of their loved one until the end comes."
"The end?" mutters a visibly worried Tasselfoot.
"Yes, the end," says the elder, "when the wolves match the human families in numbers, they kill them all that night without fear of retribution. The curse is then spread to their families, and the werewolf population grows. In order to prevent the wolves from conquering all humanity, they must be stopped here. No one may leave the town until we kill the wolves."
"Then they must be stopped here! Here, and now, we make our stand!" says djshox. "We stay here, and wait for the sun to set and the true wolves to emerge!"
"We cannot," says the elder. "Wolves can go for days without sleep - having us all assembled in one place simply makes their jobs easier. There's only one solution to do away with the wolves."
"A vote," says Flypie. "A town-wide decision to decide who lives, and who dies."
"Unfortunately," says the elder. "Hopefully, our community will be able to recover from this. But we must not let paranoia consume us. We only kill one person a day until the murders stop."
The townspeople pause to reflect on the irony of those words.
"What if you're a wolf?" asks Squeek of the elder.
"Only grown, athletic, physically fit individuals have the potential of becoming werewolves. An old man like myself could most certainly not be a wolf. As such, I'll stay out of the debates. Besides, it's irrelevant if an old man like me, past my prime and without children, sees the end of my days tonight. If I am to be killed by the wolves, so be it. I shall not involve myself in the proceedings."
"Let your fears be somewhat allayed, friends, for the wolves are not without bane. In wolfish times such as these, two great people are sent to help us. One can look into a person's true heart and find if they are wolfish in nature. The other can extend their holy influence to protect a home from the entry of wolves. May they guide our actions, and may they be safe from the wolves. By sunset we must have a decision on which member of our party must be put to rest, for the sake of us all. O, what dark times are upon us..."
The congregated townspeople begin to talk amongst themselves as to who the wolves may be, and who killed The Q...
No time to waste. It's time for justice to be dealt - and there's no justice like mob justice. You've got 48 hours (until 3 PM Friday, EST, or until all the votes have been cast) to decide who sees the noose at sunset.
Special note: when I told the wolves, seer, and guardian that they could make one pick every night, I meant the game phase known as "night", not an actual, real-world night.
NOTE: I pick the names of the people who speak in the story completely randomly, using the same method I used to pick to the people with special roles. Don't take anything anyone says in one of these "story posts" to mean anything about their actual roles.

ATTENTION EVERYONE
If you want to change your vote, MAKE A NEW POST, DO NOT EDIT YOUR OLD ONE
This is not a suggestion, this is a REQUIREMENT. One of the things about this game is that you should have a record of previous votes to go back and look on to figure out people's logic.
With that said, I'm reverting LD's vote to what it originally was until he posts again.

^ Yes.
Anyway.
This looks like a desparate act by Eric to get Tass off his trail to me.
LD's mad vote-changing frenzy and lack of explanations have me suspicious too, especially since Eric named him a human while claiming to be the seer. Plus he looks like he's trying to protect Eric with his most recent vote.
But I can only choose 1, so I'm voting for ImEric12 this round.
CypherToorima
October 27th, 2004, 05:15 PM
I'm keeping my vote the same until further info is gathered. ImEric could just be trying to get two werewolves out of touble by saying he was the seer and ld is human.
Edit: Kilga beat me to the explanation :< (seems like great minds think alike)
Edit2: I'm listening to Thriller XD. Doesn't really have much to do with this topic besides being about monsters and stuff. Awesome.
More on topic: I have no doubt in my mind that Imeric is a werewolf. It's just a suspision, but you can't change my mind. And ld is looking sorta sketchy. he would be smarter than to change his vote right away. If I'm killed tonight, I will know why. If I'm not, they are avoiding proving me right. Outragous claims, I know, but I just have a stong feeling about this. I'm not sure if this is smart playing or not, but if we can get rid of werewolves, I'm willing to sacrafice.
"The humans have another tool - a "seer". During the night, the seer has a revelation about a particular player. The seer privately informs the PM the name of 1 person they want information on, and the host informs them if they are a werewolf or human. This is a powerful tool, but if the seer makes it obvious who he is, he's going to get wolfed."
if ImEric really was the seer, he would have used his powers correctly. This revalation happens over NIGHT Unless I'm understanding this wrong, it has to be over night. I'm not basing my accusations off of this, but this is just just proving my point further. Imeric had no problem with coming out that he was the 'seer' because he is a werewolf, and werewolves don't kill each other.
lightdarkness
October 27th, 2004, 05:36 PM
The reason I voted for tass, is because eric claimed he was the seer, and was right with what he posted.
The way I see it, he had a 50/50 shot of knowing if I was human or not, and because he didn't risk it, I trust he is the seer.
After telling tass this, he still thought eric was a warewolf, thus leading me to the conclusion, that Tass is a wearworf.

ImEric12
October 27th, 2004, 05:43 PM
Cypher: About the whole overnight thing, the pre-game counted as an overnight.
And have you ever played this game before? If so, you know that the seer (or cop, whatever you want to call it), generally tries to wait until later in the game to reveal theirself, but if it comes down to a life-or-death situation, they will reveal theirself. I can only hope that whoever is the medic (er, forgot what it's called in this version,) will believe me, and save me from being killed by the werewolves, assuming that they will target me.
chardish
October 27th, 2004, 05:43 PM
Clarification.
All references to "night" and "day" refer to the game phases, not actual real-world nights and days. And the game begins during the "night" phase. So just as the werewolves killed The_Q "last night", the seer also had a revelation last night, and the guardian picked who they wanted to protect last night (obviously, it wasn't The_Q, otherwise he wouldn't be dead.)
CypherToorima
October 27th, 2004, 05:46 PM
@ Everyone: I know when night and day happen in the game, it just that ImEric worded his 'coming out' odd. Like I said, though, I didn't base it off of that assumption.
@eric: Woah woah woah, life or death? Guess who the werewolves really really want dead. The 'Seer'. In the case that seer actually comes out, he will probably be eaten that night. Your point of 'Life and Death' doesn't work.
ImEric12
October 27th, 2004, 05:50 PM
Chardish, you never answered my question.. are screenshots legal?
chardish
October 27th, 2004, 06:33 PM
No. In a certain, live-action variation of this game, roles are assigned using a deck of playing cards - if you get a face card, you're a wolf. It's forbidden to reveal your cards to others, because that's incontrivertible proof of who you are and it takes the fun out of it. It turns the game into "If you're not a wolf, then prove it by showing me your card!" And that's not fair.

I don't know exactly what's going on. It's only been one night so everything said is only pure speculation based off of few words. Even with so few things being said I can sense the tension in the room. It seems as if some people are trying to cover their tracks or, so to say, "greese the wheels". 2 votes for Tass - ImEric and Aleco
1 vote for Kenzya - Guido
1 vote for djshox - sleepless
1 vite for sleepless - djshox

I wasn't paying any attention to this game. At all. I forgot about it.
Therefore, I am reasonably certain that I am not the werewolf, because I think I would have been told, and I probably would have paid alot more attention.

After counting the votes, the town elder turned to ImEric. "It's not a majority, but it's all we've got at this point. The sun quickly sets, and we have to take action."
ImEric begins to tremble and sweat as the townspeople head towards the gallows. When they finally reach the execution site, SleeplessDragon climbs dusts the cobwebs off the rope still tied to the gallows. He forms a noose. "We haven't used this my whole life," he says, "and I never thought we would."
"It's not me..." mutters ImEric. "You don't understand, I have the power to detect the werewolves...please don't let me die..."
Aleco binds his hands behind his back and begins to lead him up the stairs. ImEric becomes frantic, beginning to struggle.
"You want to kill ME?!" he screams. "I'm your only hope for survival, and you think I'm a murderous MONSTER?!"
"Please," says Lightdarkness. "I don't like that we have to do this either, but we all decided it was the only way. Even you."
"NO!" he screams, trying to run. But it is of no use. With their heads hung low, Lightdarkness and Kilgamayan grab both ImEric's shoulders and hoist him on top of a stool and lead him into the noose, tightening it.
"I'M NOT A WEREWOLF! YOU'RE MAKING A MISTAKE!"
The townspeople look around as they wonder who will be the one to finish the job.
"I'll do it," the elder says. "I've seen enough blood in my youth."
"NOOOOOOO! STOP! I'M A SEER! I'M YOUR ONLY HOPE! I CAN TELL WHO THE-"
The elder whacks the stool with his cane, and ImEric falls, his screams instantly becoming gags and gurgles, and then silence.
Most of the men turn away. The women are crying. ImEric was a close friend of everyone for decades, and this uneasy decision lays on the town with a heavy heart. Worse still, no one knows for sure if they killed a werewolf or not. And everyone knows someone else will meet a grisly end this evening.
It is now Night 2. Any players with special roles: PM me with your targets. Day 2 begins as soon as I get all the PMs.
chardish
October 27th, 2004, 09:43 PM
And the morning comes. Wary townspeople come from their homes, patrolling the town to find who didn't make it that night. Alas, it is GuidoHunter whose home is barely recognized in its bloody, ransacked state. The tears shed in the town are beginning to match the blood in volume. The town convenes in the square once again, witnessed by its benevolent elder, and, though hearts are heavy, will elect to kill the person who is hopefully the second of the werewolves.
I'm shortening the minimum "day" time to 36 hours in the hopes that this won't force people to constantly watch the thread while at the same time helping to move the game along at a fast clip. Final deadline for voting is 10 AM EST on Friday.

So anyway, from the start I really only had two people to base things off of: LD and Eric. I considered Eric untouchable due to the fact that he could be either very important or very ...evil? LD I considered over-playing his part to the extent of which it appeared that he looked to be faking it.

DAY 2 VOTING
------------------------------------
Aleco: CypherToorima, djshox, Kenzya, Kilgamayan, Lightdarkness (5)
Lightdarkness: aleco, Moogy, MrESqueek, Qreepy (4)
QreepyBoris: Flypie (1)
Kenzya: SleeplessDragn (1)

The town turns towards aleco.
"Aleco," says Cypher. "You know what we have to do."
"Fine, kill me," he says. "I don't fear death. But what you're doing is a mistake. It may be your last one."
The elder leads aleco onto the gallows, on top of the stool, and Moogy puts the noose around his neck.
"Would you like to say anything to the town?" asks djshox.
"I don't know really never thought this would happen. I'm not a werewolf...but...you didn't believe me before, and you won't believe me now. It's too late to change your minds, anyway."
He pauses. His eyes close softly, and for a moment he looks peaceful.
"I'm ready."
As if acting by reflex, the elder whacks the stool strongly and deliberately. Aleco gags, his eyes opening suddenly. The look of peace is gone, replaced by horror and pain. He writhes helplessly for a little under a minute, and is gone. While the townspeople watch this, the visibly troubled elder walks off into the distance.
The townspeople return to their homes. They know that at least one werewolf still walks in their midst, but there may be two, and there may be three. They know that one of them will meet their doom at the hands of a wolf, but they pray that with tomorrow's vote, this will be the last night they have to endure it.
It is now Night 3. Wolves, seer, guardian, if any of you are still around, PM me with your picks.

The townspeople awake. Most of them don't even want to arise from their beds because of the toil they know the day will bring. Few muster up the courage to immediately go outside and walk around town.
All that remains of the house of Flypie and her family is hideous wreckage. None of the townspeople even want to enter for knowledge of what they will confront inside, but Kenzya builds up the courage anyway in order that she and her family may have a proper burial.
The people of Flarev convene once again. It is a meeting none wish to attend.
"I can only hope that your intuitions have been correct," says the elder, "and that two of the wolves are already dead, and I pray that we may catch a wolf tonight. If this is the case, our torment will be over as of sunset, and no more innocents may suffer the fate of The Q, Guido, and Flypie. You have until tonight to make up your minds."

Note: Alleged "Weirdness" in post was due to the frustration of having to stay up really late to write an English essay.
But yeah, If I were a werewolf, I would not be stupid enough to be spiteful in my executions, and thus lose the game. Also, the other werewolfs would have to agree to the murder. They (probably) wouldn't let me do anything that revealing and stupid. Unless they were really, really stupid. Which, since this is in Crit, would be rather unlikely. And conversely, if I were the only killer, and I did not have to agree with anyone else about who to kill, then I would not kill anyone that would reveal my identity directly--since that would make the werewolves lose the game. That's really, REALLY counterintuitive. Therefore, I am not a wolfie.
So basically, a shoddy framing managed to screw me over pretty good. Mostly because people are too stubborn to change their opinion after their mind is set on meager evidence....
Unimportant note: This is actually the first time I remembered to visit the thread on my own volition! Go me!
My vote goes against LD. He acted terribly suspicious in the beginning, and now he's just utilizing public fear and opinion to cover his tracks. How werid (lol u spelld rong).

I defended myself in one post, plus this one, which you so slyly forced me to do.
And, you know, of course I'm desparate. That's the natural tendency when you're about to get killed. You saying that should have made your "no ****" alarm go off. Honestly.
Don't you think its a natural tendency to defend yourself, too? See the following conversation:
"Oh, hey Boris. We're gonna kill you now, alright?"
"Good idea!"
Doesn't make alot of sense to me. This one makes alot more sense to me:
"Oh, hey Boris. We're gonna kill you now, alright?"
"Wait, why? What the **** is wrong with you?"
Yeah, that sounds alot more true to life than the other one. Sorry to piss on your parade.
And "defending yourself too much"? What the **** is that supposed to mean? What the fuccck? You can't defend too much, because that's like saying: "He's so right, that he has to be lying!". That doesn't make alot of sense. At least, not to me.
Guys, this is Critical Thinking. ****ing THINK for once, would you?

And, the reason I voted for Kenzya, is after having a long talk with someone else still in the game, I came to the conclusion that he is avoid the game, to make it seem he isn't paying attention, so he isn't directly suspected. DAY 3 VOTING
----------------------------
Lightdarkness: Kilgamayan, CypherToorima, Moogy, Tasselfoot, Kenzya (5)
Kenzya: Lightdarkness, QreepyBoris, SleeplessDragn, djshox (4)
QreepyBoris: MrESqueek (1)
"You think I'm a werewolf? After I'll I've done to help you guys catch the wolves?" Lightdarkness begins to cower in terror.
"It's the town's decision! I can only pray that they're correct...this wolfish scourge may end tonight if we're right." The elder's eyes are brighter than usual despite the fact that he is about to watch another townsman die.
"NO! I'm not a wolf! I'M NOT A WOLF!" Lightdarkness, gripped with fear and paranoia, runs into the distance.
"Get him," says Moogy, gesturing to Tasselfoot, an expert archer who currently happens to be carrying a bow and arrow. "We can't afford to let a werewolf escape." Tasselfoot is the town's finest archer, and helps hunt the wildernesses to gather meat for the town on occasion. Thus, he has no difficulty targeting prey on the run. Within seconds the arrow is fired. Less than a second later, it lies lodged inside Lightdarkness' neck, and he falls to the ground.
"The wolf curse cannot be allowed to escape this village," the elder explains. "We cannot offer our suspects a choice between exile and death. I have seen the curse before, and the results are unimaginable if a wolf escapes unharmed."
"Was that all the wolves?" asks CypherToorima. "Are we free of this curse? Can we return to try to pick up the pieces of our old, normal lives?"
"If all the werewolves are dead, the well should be crystal clear again, no longer filled with blood, but water," the elder says.
With much anxiety the townspeople approach the well. MrESqueek has the courage to dip the bucket inside and draw it out.
Blood-red.
"We have failed at least once..." the elder moans. "At least one of the wolves is still alive."
"Or two, or three!" shouts a visibly angry Kilgamayan. "How in the blazes are we supposed to know if we got any wolves at all!"
"You know what this means?" says djshox. "We've killed friends...innocent friends...maybe more than one..."
"The wolves will come again tonight," says QreepyBoris. "Our ordeal is not yet complete."
"And tomorrow we get another shot at killing a wolf," says Kenzya.
"I recommend you revise your wolf-hunting strategies," says the elder. "Random voting will get you nowhere. You must work together to decide who are most likely to be wolves. The road of paranoia and suspicion is not the road of reason."
"How are we supposed to do that?" asks Kenzya. "There is a wolf, or wolves in our presence, lying to us! Tricking us into murdering our innocent friends! And they have succeeded at least once!"
"Or twice, or three times. Have we even killed a single one?" asks SleeplessDragn. "Nine of us remain of the original fifteen. Is it possible that three are wolves, and six are human? Have our numbers been reduced that much?"
There is a pause. No one has the answer to that question. They return to their homes to prepare for the ordeal the next day will present.
It is now Night 4. Wolves, seer, guardian - any of you who are still around - send me your picks.

The people of Flarev awake. Most have turned from sorrow to anger, a few have simply resigned themselves to death at this point. Most are simply waiting for the end to come - a few are praying that they will be eaten by the wolves in their sleep rather than forced to suffer in the hangman's violent noose.
It is CypherToorima who is the envy of the town tonight, resting peacefully in the afterlife while his friends and loved ones continue their violent campaign to seek out and kill the werewolves before all is lost. The survivors convene in the town square, having been reduced to almost half their original numbers.

sleeplessdragn
I don't think there really needs to be an explanation for my going with sleeplessdragn. His reasons still confuses me and his voting is completely random, as if he were a wolf and not actually looking for anyone.

and ive been pointing toward different people to see how other people would erspond toward being voted on.
Ever seen/read Arthur Miller's The Crucible?
Quoted for good reference, you beat me to it.

Guys, let's lighten up the situation. I'll tell a joke.
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Not sleeplessdragn!
Do we feel better now?

The majority is...really, really clear.
So, I think we can just count it all up now.

DAY 4 VOTING: INSTA-LYNCH!
-----------------------------
Sleeplessdrgn: djshox, Kenzya, Kilgamayan, Moogy, QreepyBoris, Tasselfoot (6)
Moogy: Sleeplessdragn (1)
Nobody (no penalty): MrESqueek (1)
Sleeplessdrgn seems unsurprised and unaffected by the news of his death. Long weary of this struggle of human v. werewolf, he walks stoically up to the noose, where he is unceremoniously done away with in a prompt and silent fashion. There are no tears anymore. The people just want to get this over with.
(Yes, the story sucks now, I know. Endless lynchings are not fun to write. I'll try to make the next one cooler. Or at least a lot less melodramatic. Maybe more clever ways of dying than lynching.)
Yeah, so the well's still red. Which means there are still wolves around, and you've been wrong at least twice. Smooth work, humans. It's now Night 5. Seer [if living], Guardian [if living], and [any remaining] wolves, PM me with picks.

Six homes remain in Flarev. MrESqueek's has been added to the list of those dead. The thirsty, starved, and notably depressed community gathers for another vote to see if Squeek will be the last of the dead.
(It's hard to keep writing posts like this.)
It is now Day 5.
ATTENTION: There are 6 players left, and there were originally 3 wolves. Meaning, if you have failed to catch any wolves yet, and you don't catch one today, it's game over for the humans.

Chardish, I thought you were doing really well with the writing, considering there was no room for twists. Shame on you for blowing the writing off.
I will wait before voting; I must deliberate.

Remember, each day is 36 hours, meaning noon tomorrow is the deadline. This idea that not voting is going to save your butt has got to go.

I'm personally surprised Moogy is still alive, and he's made one or two seemingly unfounded votes, so I'm voting for him.

DAY 5 VOTING. INSTA-LYNCH VERIFIED
---------------------------
Moogy: Tasselfoot, Kilgamayan, djshox, QreepyBORIS (4)
Tasselfoot: Moogy (1)
No one (no penalty): Kenzya (1)
Moogy is bound in ropes and taken up to the gallows. He is unable to figure out why the elder is laughing softly to himself. Tasselfoot binds Moogy in the noose.
"Elder? What's wrong?" asks djshox.
"Nothing is wrong," says the elder. "Everything is perfectly allright."
The moon waxes, the sun wanes. The eyes of the elder turn bright red like embers. Moogy's eyes widen as he suddenly realizes what is happening and lunges to escape with all his might, but he is powerless to escape the noose. Tasselfoot quickly knocks down the stool with a smile and a growl, and Moogy begins to gag and choke.
"You've done well, my children," the elder says. Tasselfoot leaps off the gallows and lands on all fours. His hair begins to thicken and claws sprout from his fingers, his teeth becoming ever sharper by the second. Moogy is nothing more than a lifeless ornament at this point
QreepyBoris and djshox are gripped with fear and start to run. They are arrested by Kenzya and Kilgamayan, who are undergoing the same transformation seen in Tasselfoot. With the wolves' arms around their throats, the comparatively weak Qreepy and djshox are completely unable to move.
"We didn't kill...a...single one of you..." says Qreepy.
"Quite an astute observation, says the elder, who now lies on all fours on the ground, having lost all appearance of his humanity. "Sounds like you should have listened to all those poor friends of yours who you killed when they told you they weren't wolves. But it seemed like you were quite agreeable fellows - after all, you simply voted for whoever the wolves coaxed you into voting for. Maybe you should have thought for yourselves."
"How come...you're a wolf?" asks djshox.
"You're too young to remember that I was not born in this town. I was adopted! When the nearby town of Bemastyl encountered a werewolf problem not too long ago, I was ushered out of the town as a baby and brought here. Bemastyl, of course, was completely overrun by wolves at the end of their ordeal. My adoptive parents knew nothing of the nature of the curse I had, the curse they had accepted into their home, and sheltered me from the outside world so that no one in the town could know I was a wolf. Despite being of a werewolf bloodline, I had a serious physical malady that made it hard for me to walk. When in wolf form it's even harder for me to move - meaning if I wanted to claim this wretched town in the name of the wolf-lord, I couldn't do it myself. I waited until all had died who knew of my adopted history, and then decided it was the time to strike. I knew it was time to bring the curse to Flarev. The night of the lunar eclipse was the proper appointed time. I invited Kilgamayan, Tasselfoot, and Kenzya to my home, where I served them wine mixed with my own blood, transferring the curse upon them. As a result of the dark forces present, the well filled with blood. Don't worry, though, they're more than happy to be my servants now. They were even nice enough to kill their friends and relatives for me!"
The elder nods at Tasselfoot, who sprints into the distance suddenly.
"Bastard..." says djshox.
"Oh, don't worry," says the elder. "I told you they were quite happy, didn't I? And now you get to be quite happy too!"
Tasselfoot returns carrying a bucket of the tainted well-water in his jaws.
"Force this down their throats," says the elder. Qreepy and djshox struggle and resist, but are unable to stop Kilgamayan and Kenzya from doing so. Soon they are writhing on the ground, undergoing the same terrible metamorphosis as they saw Kenzya, Tasselfoot, Kilgamayan, and the Elder experience. They are screaming in agony as their free wills are sucked away from them and their humanity lost to a terrible double-existence. Soon their writhing stops, and they rise as new creations, having lost their old identities.
The elder speaks to the five wolves now gathered before him, smiling, licking themselves, and growling.
"There are still humans about who need to be converted," says the elder. "Let everyone in the village drink of the corrupt water tonight, whether they like to or not. Add more numbers to our ranks, male and female. Then, let us multiply and spread from this pitiful village. From here we will start our conquest. From here we will rule the country. From here we will eradicate humanity..."
Game over! A complete shutout for the humans. You guys lost, big time.
