Probably not. :(
I'm sure Synthlight doesn't want to get into legal stuff with Konami.

If i could attain permission of Konami, I would do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I don't think that is the case. I may shoot them an email though.
Cheers,
Syntlight

Shooting them an email might draw their attention tho, and that might be a bad thing. They might find the secret songs and force you to either take them off or shut down :(

Well i think that konami would not be happy with ffr...but u could put some disclaimer saying something like "any similarity to konami songs are coincidental and are a produxct of random 0's and 1's" lol

make a fake pay to submit thing, then make a fake system to make it look like the users submit al the songs, not synth - then put a thing saying that all content is submitted by the users and that u have to play like $1000 to be a submitte or somethng stupid, basically so konami thinks dat the users send it in not syth, so ed b free of responsibility. and if u make it real expensive they wudnt want to test it out cuz itd cost em alot of cash...
LOL, thats a REALLY shitty idea!
yes, that would actually make Synth get in more trouble than he is now. Lemme put it this way: People PAY him to put copyrighted material on his site. this isn't any automated geocities crap either. Synth puts them up himself. So... that idea is uber-shitty.
but this: "any resembleance to or accidental infringement on copyrighted material is purely coincidental. FFR is not responsible for said infringement, for it is the submitter's job to obtain permission BEFORE submitting a song/steps. The owner of the copyright may request for their material to be taken off the site at any time."
a reworked version of Synth's policy now, would work. Maybe with a little more re-tooling.

Just add a line in to the existing legal poo saying: "If there is any copyrighted material found on this site that is not used with the expressed permission of the owners, and following a registered complaint, said song will be removed as soon as possible with no delay and in its entirety."
