    Can someone please translate

    So I got this coin that someone gave to me and it's in Japanese and I have no clue what it says, so I would greatly appreciate someone telling me what it says.

    I couldn't get a clear picture of the coin, so I drew the symbols on paper.

                                  Yeah, it's a nickel.

                                  It says "日本国　平成二年　五円" which is basically saying it's a 1990 Japanese 5 yen coin.
