This file has a lot of sections that go offbeat and the patterns aren't exactly that friendly either.
Also, the 64th rolls are fast -- the transitions from jumptrilling are pretty tricky.
Some of these 64th rolls that were stepped to be jumptrilled also have bootraps and there's one that ends in a [123] hand, which is icky.
So basically:
- Song has some really awkward patterns and transitions
- Those 64ths are fast and require good jacking control to not fall into bootraps
- Offbeat sections that are easy to mess up, such as that up-down part with the 64th and 32nd mix and other parts

undoubtedly a FMO I don't even see how they put this as a 10

Played it once and saw many tricky patterns/transitions , could well be a fmo

I had this rated as an FMO when I sent it in. Don't know why it got rated down.

Those bursts just destroy any evidence of this being a vc. FMO undoubtedly.

If stuff like fast asleep got bumped to FMO, this is 100% fmo as well.

This really doesnt seemed that hard to me :s Just technically challenging, no speed involved.

This thread is so unanimous already, someone just go ahead and change it. The bursts in this song are almost RAN-like.

I'm going to try to be devil's advocate here and agree with Dragonmega there.
There isn't too much speed involved if you're good at breaking down bursts into jump patterns...I think Torinouta is a good comparison. Some offbeat sections and color theory, bursts are longer but manageable with good technique and reading, and the bootraps are only going to be a concern for those that want to AAA (which admittedly isn't a lot of people). Add to that its relatively low note count of under 900, and I'm for keeping this a 10.

The fact that you can jumptrill the bursts... I don't want to call it cheating, but I think it should be left out of a conversation about difficulty.

It's not tough at all, but it should be 11.

it's not uncommon for people to jumptrill bursts; it most certainly does hold merit in difficulty conversations because at a certain speed, it's more comfortable to sub-divide the rhythms rather than take them head on
anyway, yeah, there's really no reason for this to stay a 10; those burst transitions are very difficult - just from watching the replay, I can't even see how this is close to a VC...

Jumptrilling makes the file significantly easier because you are hitting jumps at half the rate than brute forcing your way through the rolls. It's appropriate to mention if needed, but I don't think jumptrilling is going to cut it for those arguments who favor the file being a VC.

Lol seems like a couple of the difficulties were screwed up this week. The bursts are ridiculous for a 10

Easily an 11 if you see 64th bursts 9 / 10 times calling it less than FMO is ****ing irresponsible.
