hey there everyone... ive only been playing ddr for 2 1/2 months now but im getting preaty good. my current greatest accomplishment is "max" on standard in ddrmax.

my friend is the best in this town, his greatest is a "c" on "ethnic" on heavy mode... his feet were flying so fast you could see between the blurs

tell me what your greatest accomplishments are, turniments, trick or point style... ive never been to a compatition myself but i plan on attending any that come close to southdakota mid sections...

umm... not many greatest accomplishments here... i AAA buterfly on heavy with my feet... thats about it... i can beat Max300 with an A on standard but i havent tried it on heavy...
the greatest accomplishment ive ever seen is probably someone beating the road of max oni course thing...
(max300, maxx unlimited, legend of max, sukara, paranoia suvivor max)

my accomplishment is AA sandstorm on DDRMAX on standard(with feet) I can get a C on MAX 300 on standard and an A on B4U Glorious style on standard too. I've only got an A on the shining Polaris on heavy, Speed X2, and Boost on.
Greatest accomplishment so far is someone AA Sana Morette Ne Ente on heavy. We didn't have Max at our arcade so I haven't seen anyone play Max 300 by me.

My best mark is an A u cant get aa on my kanomi mix for some reason o.0 uhh and my highest combo is... 290 sum and my highest point score is around 9.5 million 0.o and.. the highest lvl i played was 9/10 and i think it was the earth light, ono maniac, and i can play b4u on maniac drop the bomb on manica and brilliant 2k and too many too remeber since my ps2 broke down i cant play on my precous mat any more!

I am ranked #2 in Tupelo...my friend is the man though. I can usually keep up with him most of the time. Every now and then i will beat him in a few songs. Well i can do about every song on heavy thats not too slow. Well i can freestyle a little, mostly spins and freezing a few poses. Well i am the only one who will actually attempt it so i can say i am the best over here. Well theres not a song i can't do on Light and get an A or better, then on Standard i usually end up with A but every now and then i will get a B or C if i begin to freestyle. Well i haven't completely mastered Heavy but i pass just about 85% of the songs. It took a long while but we finally got DDR Max 2 in the arcade and thats about all i do here now. I haven't exactly passed Max 300 or Unlimited yet but i am working on it. I am sure i will get it before school starts back. The only problem here is no chicks play here that are good and hott...its always good but not hott or hott but not good(though thats better than nothing). :wink:

I usually don't post, but I just have to say this:

1. If you can AAA Max300 you can pass PSM Oni, and probably AA it at that.

2. I was thinking what you (tnyhwk900) had wrote origionally was a typo, like you accidently held in the A button too long and wrote "AAA" instead of A or AA. Your replies really don't help to support this. Don't say you weren't talking about PS, because I find it painfully hard for someone to confuse the two, especially when the person who brought up that song wrote out the words "Paranoia Survivor", clearly without the word MAX attached to them.

3. I'm not saying littlesushi's post wasn't a little rude, but wasn't it deserved? You change your sig after he guesses that it isn't your AAA (Which he hasn't even proven, he simply guessed, but since you bothered to take it down after he posted instead of asking him to prove it isn't, I'd assume that it isn't yours) and then try to claim you can AAA Max300 but you tend to fail out on Paranoia Survivor? And how do you know if he sucks at DDR if you've never seen him play, never seen his records, and probably never even heard of him before this one post? Get us a video of it. Then i'll believe you. It's not like we should believe you just because you say that you can do it. As far as I know, like less than 5 people (maybe even less than 3) in the WORLD have AAA'd that crazy song on machine. And I doubt you're one of them.

Most of us are new here because someone mentioned "Somone at FFR who says he can't pass paranoia survivor but that he's AAA'ed Max 300" at another board. I personally have known about FFR for quite a while, but have never posted.

Triple AAA'ing Max 300 isn't the hardest thing to do in DDR.
How about, Dark.. Sudden... x8... Heavy... on Legend of Max? And getting Triple A?
Yes, I think that's a *tad* harder, and truthfully I don't think anyone can do it. I only know of 3 people who can triple A it in the world. It might be 2, but I think Mike (guy from Calgary) can do it.

Also... my greatest achievement was doing C on Sakura Standard and Double AA'ing Love-Shine on Standard.
I only started 2 weeks and 4 days ago... quite good i think ^_^

The home version is a little more lenient on the timing, though, so it's a lot easier to get AAA's and such...

Of course, A on candy (assuming you're talking about heavy) is still pretty good, I've screwed up that song a few times by twisting my legs the wrong way on some of the runs (Although fortunately I always have enough life from the easy parts to save me if I screw up like taht =p)

If you can A candy you should try some songs like, say, Insertion or Broke My Heart... Good songs for first catas =p

FC = "Full Combo", meaning that you start your combo on the first step and hold it all the way through the song... In other words, you have to get all Perfects / Greats. This also usually gets you a AA, but there are exceptions... AA is 93% of the points regardless of combos, so if you decided to get as many greats as you can you could probably full combo a song with only a C as your grade.

I could never FC insertion, I always get goods on that "gallop-gallop-gallop-gallop-1-2" pattern at the end... The first time I played it I thought it was a run of eight notes and got an insane amount of goods / almosts =\

Don't quote me on this, because I'm not really sure, but I think it goes something like:

AAA - 100%
AA - 93% and up
A - 80% and up
B - 60% and up
C - 40% and up
D - 39% and below
E - You get this if you run out of life in VS mode but the two of you managed to complete the song because of your partner. I think you also get it under other weird situations, but don't quote me ont hat.

I believe that's also counting the end-of-song bonuses...

That works for Max1 and up (And all the sims seem to use that formula)... I think in 3rd - 5th mix everything was moved down one letter, so straight perfects was a AA and a failure was an F... I think before 3rd mix AAA was also called "SSS" or "AAA PERFECT"...

Beating MAXX unlimited witha B.Beating Do It All Night With a AAA.Beating Paranoia Survivor and evolution with AA.Of course there are alot more But I dont want to type them because im lazy :wink: But Come to think of it Beating every song for the first time is an accomplishment too

A max300 AA is actually a really big accomplishment, simply because getting 93% of the points is hard due to the sheer number of the arrows...

And I have no clue what notorious is on, but I really, really, REALLY want some.

I can pretty much pass all of the songs on Heavy except for PSM in which i haven't tried yet (except on extra stage). My most recent accomplishment was a C or B on Legend of Max Heavy. And up there goes 2 greats on Twinbee Heavy. I was mighty pissed off.

My favourite song to play i think is Sakura on Heavy. Fast, Hard action :wink:

I think in the US you guys have a different version of DDR so if i talk about songs you don't know of, then that's why. Or you haven't unlocked them yet. I live in Perth, Australia by the way and play DDR Extreme

Yes. That is so. But I haven't heard of some songs on the US DDR becuase I honeslty have never seen The Legend of Max...And trust me, I play a whole lot of DDR...Coincicdence? Typo? I will leave the irony to you folks.

Mby it wasnt a year...but it was a LONG LONG TIME....probably about a year at a place that WE have extreme.

Extreme hasn't even been out for a year. The first machines that hit the States was in early January at AI (I think they were the first...there may have been an arcade in the Oregon area that got one first).

Hello people. I am new here on this forum. I have been playing FFR for a while and going to the arcade brings a feeling of pride when playing DDR. I have gotten pretty good i must say because on my second try i was able to get most of Witch Doctor (Giant Toons mix) Heavy mode and 2x speed mod. I thought that was very good for my second try at the song. And the crowd gathering watching a 14 yearold just turned 15 yearold kid hit machine gun steps must have been pretty entertaining. :D

I'm reeeally tired of all of this "he didn't AAA Max300" thing. I don't care one way or the other if he did. I'm pretty sure the issue has been dropped by now, but I just wanted to get my 2 cents in on that. If he did, good for him. I don't think he did any more than anyone else, but let's not press it. It's bad karma to lie about that stuff, let it bite him in the ass.

About the whole rating system, 3rd Mix, I know, used S and SS, S being a AA and SS being a AAA. That was changed at 5th Mix.

Also, do not, I repeat, DO NOT, call DDR Extreme "8th Mix". It is not 8th Mix, nor is it a MAX3. It's DDREX, plain and simple.

As far as my greatest accomplishments I've beaten Max300 and MaxX a number of times, both with B's. I managed to do MaxX on reverse once just to see if I could get through it... I think my brain was deader than my legs and lungs after that, though. As far as MaxX Extra Stage, I've made it 1:10:56 into it. May not be that big a deal, but it was to me. I've had a 1000+ combo going into D2R on Naoki Standard when a little kid got on the pad behind me... he's lucky he's alive. Out of 3 songs I can average 1000 perfects, at least on MAX2, and occasionally I'll get 1100 perfects out of 3 songs. I've gotten 1287 on DDREX, the first three songs were Extreme songs and my Extra was Dead End. For some reason I can't get 1000 perfects on 3 songs on DDREX. Probably has to do with how many less arrows the songs have on EX than MAX2. I've AA'ed many of the 9 foot songs on MAX2.
