Then I was like oh might as well play some more long files.
I destroyed the 24th stream on this run, but I still can't do the (24)3(24)3 crap without dumping goods, and I still had to mash the 12th hands at the end.

There's been a few people saying that Flash 9 has been lagging considerably more than normal. I can't say anything because I'm still playing on Ubuntu 10.04, with 640x480 resolution (have to shift down for it to work) on Flash 11. Gets the job done with little to no lag.

I always was bad at it too, the 3-note 24th rolls and the minijack part always used to destroy me but it really all just clicked that one run. idk what changed but I guess I can do that chart now ?_?
Wish I had some magical tip but um, try pressing all the buttons a little more accurately, that will do the trick.

Here's a random bad PA score I got. I'm sure I could get this down to low 20s and definitely teens if I could ever hit those trills right. First miss was standard failing on the trills, but the second miss was blatantly a keyboard miss, wtb new keyboard :(

I had forgotten about this file, I really like the file itself so I will be playing this more in the future.
Got two or three stupid goods outside the bursts this run but I still did well.
Between all my tries at this I don't think there's a section in this file I haven't AAA'd, the question is just putting it all together. Hopefully I will SDG soon.

This particular song acted as what a tiebreaker would be doing in the previous few tournaments, where they'd pick a song typically one level higher than the previous one in an effort to separate all of the players. A few extra people were allowed into this round because there were 26 AAAs (and to my knowledge, only 20 people were supposed to make it).

3 goods...wow. Even if my 6-0-0-2 on Sambista got recorded, I wouldn't be in the clear, and now I'm mindblocked like crazy on the 48th burst into the yellow jack. I actually got 10 goods and an average in the first 80 notes before punching my monitor (thank god for LCD screens and me being a weakling).

This is why you don't miss/boo out if you mess up, kids: You get mindblocks added onto the part you're having trouble with.

Mute City isn't a harder one, but getting it as your first VC is like Oni-ing on BB Evo. It's not Big Blue, but there's lots of easier stuff it could've happened on, so it means a bit more than just getting "a" VC. It's a good sign.
