Haha, you get good scores once in a while. Just make sure you tap lightly so you don't get a boo from the glitch. I'm practicing that on this laptop keyboard, and good results are happening here. Hopefully better things will happen there.

But you only get averages when you hit notes *early*...

But, if you fall behind so much, you run into the front of the timing window on different arrows since it's a constant trill. Average dumping is a legitimate situation for a lot of songs with jacks/trills if you can't keep up due to FFR tossing out a combination of misses and boos for timing window overlapping of multiple arrows.

That's true, but if you get averages when you fall behind, it means you must have gotten at least one miss - otherwise you would have hit more times than the number of arrows, so you'd actually be ahead of the trill/jack. So it seems to me that if you're FCing any trill/jack and getting averages (not counting averages at the very beginning) you actually need to slow down.

Honestly, I have potential, but it depends on the splitting factor and lucking out on the 12th jacks with the 48th bursts in between (one of the goods came there and that part is ridiculously uncomfortable)

I've got the ending gluts figured out pretty much, I still split a good there too, the ending of the trill is what's really hard to transition from to the 48th roll though.

By the way, no pattern in Death Piano is harder than that ****ing [14][34][14][34] (or [14][12][14][12] mirrored) pattern in Revolutionary Etude. I'm very positive that I have a better chance of AAAing DP than Revo because of it rofl (and the very ending of Revo is more one handed BS)

Okay, so 3 days ago I abused the replay feature to unlock Sonata Quasi Una Fantasia Mov.3 because everyone here knows I'm not that consistent. Well, after getting 25-0-0-1 sightread on it, I was dead set on getting that asterisk off of my TP list. (This has happened before with Minute Waltz v2, Novo Mundo and For FFR.)

God damn, that trill was messing me up every time with the framer gap. Thanks to QQ's breakdowns, however, I finally got over the hump.

Dude...FFRoids? I wouldn't mind a hit of those so I could actually get down some of the transitions in Holy Orders, mostly the burst around 280 and coming in/out of the second long trill. There's some stamina issues with the jacks in the last bit, but nothing that can't be solved with soft taps and plenty of caffeine.

FYI: They're actually slower than the one in Kyrie (140 bpm vs. 136), but same number of notes, and have the problem of transitions.

Conquest and Capture is surprisingly tricky for under 60 seconds. Keep at it.

Thrash the Plank I eventually AAAed on something like the 13th run. It's tough for me to control myself in the jump-tap bits in the last part.

I can't say that my skill has dropped, but rather, people are getting really good and might not even know it. It's kinda like how I got a head start on DDR, then a lot of my friends caught up and they're way better than me. Then I was pretty much w/e and didn't care.

Also, did anyone notice that Piano Etude Gymnastics has more AAA's than Anti-Ares, Silly Symphony, World Tour, and Bloodmeat? I mean, freakin' Bloodmeat, that songs is sooo easy outside of the trill, seriously. I can't believe Anti-Ares has only 13 AAA's, I know so many people capable of that song, the only really hard part is the weird 24 jack into trill into jack pattern, you know what I mean. Other than that, yes it's very hard, but it shouldn't restrict it to only 13 AAA's :p

Sort of looking forward to a revival of Easy ST Month, only this time easy files get cleared out of the queue. Most of the good beginner songs are the ones vets cut their teeth on, and now they're all stashed away in Legacy. That shit actually taught you to stay on your toes and hit the arrows as they lie, and the background stuff further drives home reading skill.

yeah AJ, the 'solo' section is the only truly difficult part of the file I think (ending's not too bad if you're not hitting early since there's a few framer issues -- either that or the file is slightly offsync and it's just more noticeable at the end for me)

sucks about the laptop being a giant derp haha I was wondering why you were sitting on 5 when I first checked the scores on it before I even played the file

and tbh, I've never even used the offset function...usually if a file feels offsync to me, I'll just turn off the volume~
