Easier everything else but harder 24th section. The 16th jumpstream goes on for a long time and there are long one hand trills in the jumpstream but they're easier than the dumb shit in RWOB.

Also, minijacks.

I know how you feel. You play it once and get like 2k arrows in and then get a good, and you just don't want to play it again. I just decided to play it twice per day until I get the AAA, and now I have it. :3

Actually, in my case I kept getting a CB in one of the 32nd rolls, even came away with a 35-0-1-0 performance or something like that once. After my skill boost and my first FC with something like 79-3-0-3, I'm like, "Let's get it on, son" and I bust out the SDG.

When I set out to fix shit, it's scary. See 9 from high 60s on Lunatic Princess, 13 from high 60s on Trill Forever, 14 from 200-something on Blue Noah (don't laugh) and 3-1-0-0 from clean 9 on Gradeus.

Anyway, I actually went and figured out no less than three of the normal tokens in one day (I think it was 15, 16 and 19). For them being "easy", they sure took me a while to figure out!

Also, Easy Skill Token month FUCCED, and I cleaned up a few scores while I was at it. (I still can't believe I didn't have Activity Unbroken or Disconnected AAAed until today.) Hardest thing I did today was fixing a booflag on What's What that somehow took over 20 plays.

Basically, what's going on there is a right jack and a left-down trill at the same time, which is a pattern I can hit...but not at that speed. The other two "jack" parts are more like jump bursts. Overlay only requires one key setup but it requires a keyboard with keys that can rise and fall in time as you do a one handed trill on each key (for example, you set left to the left shift key which is big and then right to the right shift key and then you use two fingers on one key to do the jacks, do a trilling pattern, and it's basically double setup but with one key setup).

IMO, Crowdpleaser should just be removed off level ranks because one: It's killing peoples' level ranks and two: You're expected to know how to either vibrate or do that "overlayering" setup which is technically cheating because you're using two fingers on one key -- not to mention that the overlay setup will not work well for some keyboard which isn't fair. That's like saying that you can use the overlay setup on Jackhammer madness and the AAA for it would be considered legit which is BS. HOWEVER since FFR is allowing the overlay setup to be legit, that means that kmay's score is legit so good job man. :)

We've jumptrilled rolls, switched scroll directions to left and right, and even switched playing styles in the middle of a song to get the best possible scores.

This is just another one of those shortcuts in my eyes. It takes practice to execute and like everything else, it's inventive. >=)

I don't actually know if my keys are springy enough to do a 240bpm trill on one of them - I'll have to work it out. i do know my arrow keys are too small though, so I'd have to use something like YGHJ.

Maybe the stepper shouldn't have put a horrible pattern transition like in grind2, that was really freaking retarded :twisted: Plus some 32nd rolls such as in DeVouR and Skeletor have 2 frames in between the arrows so that takes a huge amount of luck to AAA - to hit, no problem haha, you're basically making it harder for yourself to AAA. Another thing, FFR is frame based so some fast bursts actually have zero frames in between notes so it *is* basically a jump xd

Overlay setup isn't cheating. Hell, we can go as far as to say KEYBOARD PLAY is cheating because this is all based on DDR anyway which calls for legs. And yet we don't consider four-finger play cheating. What about alternating between fourfinger and index for tough trill patterns?

As far as I'm concerned, all that matters is that you have four input buttons -- nothing more, nothing less. After that, you can go crazy and hit them however you want.

My personal opinion: anything that the game allows without modification isn't cheating. Manipulating framers, changing finger placements mid-song, mirror abuse, speedmods, noteskins. If the game explicitly lets you do it, it's not wrong.
