I recently switched to Chrome over FF a few days ago and haven't looked back... it hasn't been eating up nearly as much memory, and it hasn't crashed once yet (FF crashes a lot on Facebook for instance).

What do you guys prefer?

I used to prefer Chrome, but now it won't work on my laptop. No page will load and I cannot figure out why. I now use FireFox. IE is just atrocious and should never be used by anybody.

My FF hasn't crashed on FB. Must be your computer.

I have a corrupted google cookie or something in Firefox, so to log into gmail or youtube I have to switch to Safari real quick. But I couldn't live without my various addons. Firefox is my fave.

I always thought this graph was rather fascinating, though it obviously doesn't apply to this forum.

Firefox because it's one one of the few good browsers Linux, and doesn't eat as much memory. I would use Chrome while on Windows if it weren't for the add ons. No Script is a huge lifesaver.

Got Chrome when it came out and never looked back.

I am guessing I have a setting somewhere in FF that screws with FB, because FB doesn't crash on IE or Chrome, but it does crash on FF.

Firefox or Opera

Re-install Firefox and see if that settles it

I switch between FF and Opera a lot, I haven't had any outstanding problems between any of them.

I'm surprised that Kaspersky AV isn't on that graph by the way. :o

I gave Chrome a try back when it came out. Everything was going pretty well. Then I switched back to Firefox probably just because it was what I was familiar with. I really really really don't like change. I do use chrome whenever my firefox decides to poop itself, but that doesn't happen very often.

There must be something on your computer if it crashes on FB. I have FF add-ons, but it still doesn't crash. I also don't have Windows 7 yet.

Rubix, it's probably one of your add-ons. I figured out that one of my addons apparently screws with FFR, and since then I just run in FF safe mode, or just use chrome to play FFR. Small hassle, but for everything else, I just use Firefox - my addons and bookmarks bar are invaluable tools.

If Chrome had add ons, there wouldn't be a single person using anything else, if they weren't idiots of course.
I use Chrome for everything except ffr, and FF for FFR.

How do I get ffr the game to work on ubuntu? ffr just goes nuts and all other flash applications just don't show anything.

I use FF all the time. Sometimes it screws up, other times it doesn't, but lately it's been a little biatch. It freezes on multimedia stuff. And freezes if I'm trying to select a picture or file to upload somewhere.

It's Vimperator; lets you use the browser very easily without a mouse. It's basically Vim for Firefox. Links are opened using a hint system that zeroes in on links you want by typing them.

I use FF I've never really had any issues with it. But I may check out Chrome, I've never tried it.

Firefox has tons of add-ons, which is a pretty strong point for it.

That's badass haha.
Oh and i use FF 98% of the time. Has good add-ons. Fasterfox lite is the best one.

Should work fine. I've had a computer that ran Win98 and Ubuntu, and I just ran FFR in FF2, worked just fine. It ran better than Win98, which lagged like crazy.

I've found FF to work better than IE for FFR. And in fact, I've just found it to be an all-around better browser. Don't have any experience with the other two, although I've heard bad things about Opera.

Remove swfdeck or swfplayer (some name like that) and get adobe flash as a .deb from the adobe website. Everything is all grey with a big play button on it right? If nothing is working just install the .deb

EDIT: God the FF VIM thing is freaking sex @_@

Ive tried FF, Opera, IE, and Chrome. Chrome is the only one thats worked well for me. And you need like 80 billion TB of RAM to run FF, so screw that xD
EDIT: Alright, a bit much of an exxageration xD. You could rule the civilized world with 80 billion TB haha. But point is still valid.
