Im sick of people whining about how certain songs, ie, Chrono trigger, are too hard. And then they go on to mock the maker(s) of said song. If you dont like it leave, if you are a true fan you take the good as well as the bad.

It doesnt matter what I think, if i find it hard im not going to whine and tell the person who made said song to tone it down, or that they suck, Its just a game people, not a way of life.

As planned, there should be a song for just about every skill level in FFR. This will become more planned and obvious in Remix #2. No game is perfect and people complain about songs that are in the real DDR.
Complain or not, as long as it is constructive... We will get along fine. :)

If there are no extreme songs then users like myslf, tek ni que, ducknoodle soup, hyrogashi (im not sure quite how good he is tho) and others to have a challenge on. If u cant do the chrono level then go play another lebvel, there are easy ones too

am i good? lets just put it this way i AA'd V and AAA'd Max300 on fingers i can beat every dwi and stepmania song EVER made, so yes i would be counted i hope. And matt duke DID go 1st palce in chrono trigger so he counts too, but anyways. my argument is if there werent hard songs here, i would never come to this site, i visit this site 5 or 6 times a day, you can see how harder songs make a total difference.

Yeah, there shouldn't be complaints of how hard a song is. In every good game there is an ultimate, challenging level, that makes you want to pull the hair off of your head. However, once you finally beat it, you get a huge sense of accomplishment. DDR has always had a "bad boy" since the days of 1st Mix with Paranoia. Just think of Chrono Trigger as the "bad boy" of FFR. It is challenging, but challenge is a part of every game.

Yes. Challenge makes you come back for more. When I first looked at the Megaman song, I'd thought I never beat it. but I kept on trying because I wanted to show that sonuva bitch who's boss. As I started my own .dwi file and my sense of rythm got better (along with math skills, geez, I didn't know you needed THAT much) I'm coming soooo close to a perfect combo on it.
Now that second secret song has my attention. J-pop. woot.

Hey if some people like that insane fast FFR then they can knock themselves out playing it for all I care.
Personally... I can't see how anyone could do chrono trigger without simply mashing the all of the arrow keys to the beat. I'd be really interested to see someone upload a webcam video of themselves rocking away on one of those songs.
At any rate, the part of FFR that I enjoy isn't surviving to the end of a song. For me, working to perfect a song is the fun part. It's a challenge to get even the easiest songs perfect, while avoiding the "almosts" and the "goods".

Yeah, I agree. The challenge to get the most perfects is so difficult. Consider that your accuracy has to be within 1/30th of a second to get a 'perfect'... That is more difficult than it sounds. Combine that with some of the older songs that had poorly timed arrows and you have one hell of a challenge.

If it makes any of you guys feel any better...
When Synth and I started making FFR, I had to send the file over to him to test it after every change/edit so he could tell me if it was fine or not.
Mainly, to test the ends of levels and scores etc.
I was so happy when I first completed our test level! :D
If you find any of the levels hard, stick at them, cause you will finish it. To all you 'pros', sucked in if you find any levels hard! :P
Cheers...

Do you guys pop pills before that Chrono level
Looked at it once .. got maybe a 3 combo and then decided to go back to playing Mario. Trying that makes the computer keyboard beep non stop anyway. Can't handle so many kep presses at once at the same time

Maybe we should make a different section for harder songs that way people KNOW that they are hard and do not complain about them. Or make them a secret section, kinda like the SSR mode on DDR 3rdMix.

if u hit four or more buttons windows thinks the keyboard is ****ed, but there are no double presses on that level. if you do it correcly u shud NEVER have to hit more than to buttons, and even then its a rarity. And lol, ou like the mario lvel? I perfected it on my frst try, and decided it didnt even dignify the high score sheet with a name... Went back to my levels after that, oh and

The best I've ever done on 4key DWI/FFR/Stepmania is getting a B(about 30 perfects away from an A) on "A", and a B on stoic.
I've also AAAed max300 on Stepmania but that isnt as big as an accomplishment as the B on A, and a B on stoic, since to be put lightly those are the two hardest things ever made for 4key DWI/SM/FFR
