Attention! I need serious assistance! I'll put it simply:

I need a Tracker program. Y'know what I mean.
A program that remixes songs.

With all those remixes of all those popular songs already out there,
its making me jealous. Especially with all the extra ones that just
appear outta nowhere, more often on the FFR Simfile Database.

Don't believe me? Here's a small list of song remixes to prove my point:

-DOMO DOMO DOMO (KCP Remix)
-In My Eyes ~Midihead Remix~
-Phantasy Star Online Wanta Phanta ReMix
-Eye Of The Tiger (Echo Remix)
-The Happy Theme (Trancebound Remix)
-(DJ Techno) The Future
-HEALING VISION ~Half Mix~
-Captain Jack (Grandale Remix)ONI steps
-GalvanizedBoss (FF7 Boss Remix)
-Rockstar (Jason Nevins Remix)

To add insult to injury, do you ever notice how similiar the beat in
Geno's Forest is to SMRPG Rawest Forest? Another frickin remix dammit!

So lemme sum up what I need in these terms.
I need a remixing program that...
1. Is 100% Free / 2. Is complex, but simple to use/ 3. Has NO trial period!
4. Works with Windows Vista, cause sadly that's all I got...

That's it. And don't hold out on me, I know you guys have something!
Over 1,000 users on this site uploading simfiles with remixes day to day...so
one of you 1,000 better have something! May I remind you of even more
remixes? Here's another list:

-Kirby Floating Island Remix
-Its A Small World (****ing Hardcore REMIX)
-Final Fantasy 7 Battle Theme Uber Remix
-Eurodancer (Remix)
-i feel... (T.O.Y. Remix)
-Super Mario Remix(trance ver.)
-Lost In Love (Remix)
-Simple and Clean (Planit B Remix)
-Together And Forever (KCP Remix)
-The Simpsons (Techno Remix)
-Last Christmas (Remix)
-Final Fantasy 7 Chocobo Robo voice
-Everytime We Touch (Duet Remix)
-Butterfly(China Power Remix)
-MegaMan BattleNetwork Theme REMIX
-Mario 64 Main Screen Remix
-Zelda 2 Temple OC Remix
-MAX 300 (REMIX)
-Kirby- Green Greens OC Remix
-Under The Sky(Ryu* Remix)
-BRILLIANT 2U (B4 ZA BEAT MIX)

And that was just the tip of the iceberg. There are gajillions upon billions of
simfiles with remixes here in the FFR Database. So please...

..share the love. I only need to make a few 10-25 remixes of my own,
that's all. Plus, I never made one before. Plz help an innoccent remix
noob get by. And if ya don't, you're just lamers like Mario with his Party o'
a bunch of Retarded Joes!

NOTE: I may not be able to reply right away. It will take a day or two for
me to return to this thread. Why? School. Nuff said.

Also, one more remix: Chocolate Rain (/DJS\ Remix)
It's one that really got me by surprise.

Thanks for reading.

I'm no expert on this but I'm pretty sure remixes are done on music making software after you get the tracks with a tracker program, such as Reason and FL Studio's XXL 8.0 which I'm currently playing around with. Most those remixes aren't made by people on FFR, in face I think only the /DJS\ one is. If you want a crack for FL Studio's just send me a PM or preferably add me on MSN, AIM, or YIM. It's not easy making music with these programs at all, they're VERY complex.

PS: What's wrong with Vista?

I think it'll take more than a tracker program to make a remix. You'll want something more advanced, like FL Studio, Cubase, or some other major digital music studio to make a really good remix. It's not just simply mixing a beat from this song with a melody from that song.

But, since you're asking for a tracker program, then my dad used to have something like that... DigitalDJ? I can't quite remember the name, but it was something along those lines. Google that name and you might get results.

Good luck.

PS: What's wrong with Vista?

Some remix programs aren't compatiable with Windows Vista.

...and you don't think those demands are the least bit absurd?

Why ask something like that unless you already have a remix program of your own and this is your way of being greedy about it!
Nice try, but my demands aren't the least absurd.
