Updating shortly.
qqwref, you have all of the proof that is required of you, and since the tourney started at 12:00 AM CST, that screenie proves that you did the song later than the round started, and therefore is valid (as you are in PST and it would be 1:30 AM here.) |

mashing should be the last thing you do.

Kot's right. But, see, mashing can pay off IF you FC, because you do get a 10% deduction. It may or may not hinder you, but if you are a mashing, anti-PA king, your score will be SICK.

24277.5... The best non-PA for this tourney is an All-Average FC with as many boos as you can hit at the end.
Say you get 15 boos at the end of this fc, 4653 is your score for Mercury Lamp. I know I'll never get that or need to, but it's a nice note. |

The most common quad boo mashing at the end of a song can get anywhere between 12-20 boos. WITH an all average FC, you would get somewhere in the mid 4600s (4630.5 and 4666.5 respectively.).

I thought this anti-PA FC was pretty good. The 10% off the FC gives you doesn't compensate at all for the points you incurred by hitting notes lol. This scoring system kinda fails. Brb with a score with maximum misses and boos -_-.

For a second, I was like wtf, why are you submitting, but I looked back into the thread and noticed that I missed you in the sign-ups. X)
If you are able to get a score of a ton of averages with a small amount of goods, AND FC, you will end up with a sick score. This encourages all of those who CAN anti-PA well enough to combo, to do it! |

Damn, this is harder than I thought lol. No sub-10k for me, but I keep trying. And indeed, Halogen, FC with all averages would be sick, but miss once and you'd better have gone for a max-miss score instead. The FC option is only for the real diehards;P.

Woker, your score does NOT count, 2 arrows have not been accounted for. (max combo for the song is 1049, your total is 1047.). Your submission has a score of NaN, putting you in last place of the submitted entries (so you have the lowest SUBMITTED score, meaning you are still above the line.).

The way I calculate it is that the best possible score would be to average half of the notes and miss half of the notes (well, slightly more than half, but not so many that you fail). Mercury Lamp has 1049 notes, and since you can have up to 9 more misses than hits and still pass, the best possible score is 520*(+5)+529*(-10) = -2690. But I'd be very, very surprised if anyone manages a negative score in any round.

That's impossible because they changed the life gauge a long time ago so that if you hit an average, you don't gain life. So you'll die after you hit your 10th miss/boo.

Oh, I just tried it, and you're right. Neat, I always thought Averages gave you life. So I guess the best strategy really would be to go for as many averages as possible, and to get about as many misses and goods while doing so.
