i dont know why you would still consider her a virgin. if shes into girls that would be considered losing her virginity in that regard.

Rubbing through the pants is foreplay, not a sexual act.
Making out is basically kissing. Kissing is usually a form of affection between lovers, so no, it is not a sexual act. EDIT: But it does entice for something sexual to occur, so yeah... it can also be foreplay like rzr said.

Because there was no physical penetration. As ****ed up as this sounds, watch some lesbian porn. Without toys. They have no penetration, just bodies rubbing together (minus fingering). And most dictionaries define sex as penetration.

For a women to lose her virginity one of the major steps is the breaking of the hyman.

Hmmm...I'd say she is a virgin. Only intercourse should take the title of virginity from someone, since it is important to most people and society these day's promotes sexual activity. Making it harder to resist every sexual act. Make sense?

That does make sense. sex is every where making it damn near impossible to really define 'losing' your virginity.

Okay...where to begin, where to begin.
1/ The term you're looking for, which has existed for decades is "A technical virgin" meaning someone who has some degree of sexual experience but has never engaged in the standard penetrative sex that the term traditionally applies to. By the "usual" and here I mean "generally standard" definition of the term, someone who has only ever engaged in oral sex or I believe the proper term is heavy petting, has not technically lost their virginity, but as the thread has shown repeatedly, that's really a cop-out and they probably shoudln't be considering themselves virginal, if not actually a virgin. 2/ This thread had no business whatsoever being in Critical Thinking. Even if the topic weren't something completely inane and ridiculous (the vaunted virginity of one specific person because of one specific encounter) the calibre of posting in here is nowhere NEAR the standards for the CT forum. 3/ Goddammmit RZR would you stop telling people what to do? You aren't a moderator, you aren't an administrator. I don't care if this thread personally upsets you, I don't care if this thread deals with a subject that is very important to you personally. You treat the other users of this forum with respect, and that includes respecting them and their opinions. 4/ No, breaking the hymen has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with virginity. The average female has broken her hymen simply from basic physical activity well before she's had sex. Any girl who's taken part in any strenuous sport, especially things like horseback riding is "not a virgin" by that standpoint well before she would -actually- be not a virgin. 5/ "While he's here can you reply to my PM? Or can chardish? I mean, I am a subscriber. What happened to the guaranteed reply?" RZR, you've got recieving PMs disabled as a forum option. Try enabling them and you might get an answer to your PMs. 6/ I'm sad for all of you, for thinking any of this was worth posting in CT. You're all officially warned for post-whoring, violation of several CT forum rules, and Xinpig, watch the double posting. |

PS - Watch Chasing Amy. There is a great dialog between a straight man and a lesbian woman about what constitutes being a virgin or not. He claims that she is a virgin, because she's never had a penis inside her vagina. She claims otherwise for various reasons that I won't spoil for you. Besides that, it's a Kevin Smith movie... which makes it worth watching.
