yeah... I just improved my score to over 40k. Got 4 perfs, but I think my goods*avgs were better than the run where I got 3 perfs.

wow, I think I might be playing the wrong song if you're able to get that high with 4 perfs...
Best I've done is around 10k, know I can get 50-60k though |

score's around 130,000 using a song I think is optimal for this round. There's another one that is also optimal for easy Perfect-minimizing and probably easier, but it's boring as hell

Since puzzle rounds are either solvable or not, instead of the usual sliding scale of points for how well you score
the puzzle rounds will simply be worth a flat 500 points for completion, with 500 points also being awarded for the first person to submit the correct solution, and 500*0.9 (The usual scale) in order as later people submit the correct response. That way, since completion is all that matters, first places go to those who complete things the fastest. So you'll have a better crack at getting the bonus if you're here right when the round goes up, but you aren't completely screwed out of points if you happen to miss the start of the round. If this really pisses people off then the alternative is just 1000 points if you do it, and 0 if you don't, which I really don't want to do. As a reminder, round three, the first puzzle round, goes up at 8:00pm EST (2 hours from now) |
