I'd rather not comment on fractals, which are only things your capable of creating apparently. Ironically there are programs that can generate fractals. Please gtfo =(

aperson was just trying to give you some constructive criticism. I don't think you should take it to offense.

Eh...While your work, Cypher, is much better than anything I can do in PS and therefore good in that sense, I am actually more interested in what aperson has there. I see more of a flow throughout it and I do see more going on in quite a few aspects with what he has made. Everything he has been saying has made perfect sense to me, so I don't understand why you keep giving him this angry tone.

I also wanted to point out that you are being pretty ignorant to what aperson has been explaining in a kindly manner, and that you are also being ironic by telling him to "Get over yourself". You haven't been lenient to having an understanding here. Also, you really set the stage for him to post some of his work, so don't say he hijacked your thread.

By the way you are acting now, I wouldn't be surprised if you wrote an angry response to what I have to say. You should have handled this much better than you have been.

I'm perfectly happy to take constructive criticism, and advice even for that matter. But simply calling my work generic simply on the basis that ALL sigs are generic isn't constructive in the slightest.

He also fails to give advice on how to improve on this in the future, although as i said i probably wouldn't take any notice seeing as i tend to listen more to people i respect.

The sigs look good. But they all look too similar to each other.

Oh yeah, I didn't make my sigs.

That's photomanipulation, sir.

I've said it a hundred times in this thread, making art is about breaking your boundaries of functional fixedness and using tools in ways you haven't used them before on things you haven't dealt with before.

Although I hate to continue this argument between cypher and aperson, I have to agree that all of your work is fabulous-- your pictures are wonderful and they're extremely detailed, but at the same time, they're all too similar. Try adding more backgrounds to some of your work. For instance-- the two things in your sig, add some background to them... Anything. They're nice, but they're just pictures that only use half the space allotted.

Ye, i can accept that. Mostly due to lack inspiring renders.

Back to topic, are there seriously not a couple of takers for a sig?

Just the kind of art is Generic...Similar abstract backgrounds with a fictional character. They're still very good and I have no idea how people do this in photoshop lol. Generic does not = bad

Awesome. I love x and z. No offense to y. The detail in all of them is great. And i tend to lean more towards photo manipulation than abstract effects/blurs. Just wanted to give you kudos on your work, i love it.

Cypher, welcome to the world of art, you will come to find out that 99% of the things said by aperson are completely true, and apply to every aspect of art, not just your sigs.

Take a look back through every page of the 32bit RGB forum, you'll come to find that nearly every thread ever made is about signatures, and not one of yours sets them apart from the rest. You may use a different character, or a different render or what have you, but all in all, the composition is still the same.

So in order to separate yourself from the other countless amounts of people who make sigs, you need to be original.
