Quasar video
In this video, I am playing Eggman's Quasar on 1.5x music speed (NOT SCROLL SPEED, download it and you'll see what I'm talking about).
A few things to note: 1) I used frontcam for this video. Thus, the file is 81 megs and the animation is at 30 fps so it's not exactly the most fluid thing in the world. Granted it's not UBER LAGGY, it's still not the most fluid thing in the world. 2) I went out of my way to prove I am not BS in this video. You can see the ini, the path to the ini, and me selecting the judge difficulty before I start. 3) I purposely messed around on the last set of arrows so people wouldn't assume the vid was just sped up (look at the arrow marquee if you don't believe me) 4) I did not record the whole desktop, because it makes it EXTREMELY LAGGY. It was laggy as it is when I was recording, so if I recorded the desktop I would not have been able to get a decent score at all. 5) The score is not near as good as my best because of the lag in the video. I messed up about three times in the vid, and you can see the energy in my fingers starting to fall near the end. 6) You MIGHT need DivX to view this vid, I'm not sure 7) Despite all this, some people will still probably claim it's fake. This file will take about roughly 40 minutes to download at 34kb/s, so if you're on a 56k don't even bother since it will take you forever and a half. If you download it and want to show it to your hundreds of stepmania pals, instead of giving my site the equivelant of a bandwith ass raping, send it to them through a file share or something because jesus christ I don't have unmetered bandwith. So yeah, here you go, hopefully you will enjoy the bandwith and effort I put into this (right click, save as): *removed*/quasar.avi |

Thanks guys
I also have a vid of me getting 1 miss on Paranoia Respect, but it's only a fraction of a vid and the sound is out of sync *removed*/paranoiarespect.avi Oh yeah and just a reminder I will remove this when my bandwith is over 12 or so gigs used for the month, since my max is 20 and going any further than 12 is risky |

Frontcam makes SM lag so the random greats didn't surprise me...

Good work Arch, cool playing, high visual quality, and with sound, I enjoyed it.
It took me only about 3 minutes to download it. Quasar video is around 15 fps on my pc, though that is sufficient. Paranoia Respect video was around 32 fps. |

Thanks Souj. Always good when I'm corrected on my grammar - I still spell despite wrong sometimes out of habit x_x
Also, yeah 87x that's what I did, since I didn't want to upload another 80 mb monster since the sound for the entire video was out of sync thefantomfreak is recompressing the vid for me though, so I will probably be able to have it up longer And yes, note helps a lot. Nima, anyone is doubtable on anything they do, since videos can be faked just as easily as pics and use lag as an excuse or something |
