If attraction is amount of money, then yes some women choose "attractive" males.
And I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I have standards and don't want to have sex with all women.

Uh huh.. anyways disregarding the spammers...
Personally I don't know if 42 is the meaning of life, and if it's just a coincidence. Although plenty of things relate to 42 in constants and whatnot, the base 13 crap is easy to argue, since anybody could use base 12 or whatever.. that's a wash. BTW: We live in base 10, so I don't see how base 13 = 42 has relevance to anything.

if any number has anything to do with the meaning of life it would be 1.618, implying fibonacci, which is a pattern found in virtually everything

personally i dont think there is a meaning to life. i just live for the moment and thats all there is to it. If theres some big unconcious purpose out there than thats great and im probably unconciously following it anyway so y does it matter?

And Maka, I am assuming you read the Da Vinci Code, yeah? And 42 is probably as close as we humans will ever come to knowing truly what the meaning of life is. Humans have a tendency to think themselves all high and mighty, when in reality, we are no different from apes, save our greater intellegence. It is this intellegence that makes us question our purpose on this world. In order to make ourselves feel less worthless, we create God(s) to give us some purpose. But we will never know. |

Well.. maybe YOU create god(s) to give you some purpose, but I sure as hell don't.

He trying to say that your mind lacks closure so it creates a higher power in order to explain the unexplained, I also sure as hell don't.

jewpin was really close, but just an itsy bitsy little off.
Probably better said, "In order to make ourselves feel less worthless, we make up purpose(s) and/or reason(s)." Or something like that. I dunno. |

alot of human beings need someone to blame for the shit that happens in their lives "so oh hey its gods will that grandma died" or some stupid shit like that, no its because grandma was old and she had heart problems that she died stupid ass.. This maybe against the rules or something and i might offend someone but i think religion is pointless. and to me the meaning of life is whatever the fuck you want it to be.

Ask the dude that made life, and if he (it) doesn't exist, then there is no meaning of life...
As for '42', well I'm sure if you try hard enough you can make any number sound special, and there are any number of patterns of numbers (symbols) in any number of bases that match any number you choose to focus on. |
