First to post score, it's funny because I kept getting 51 combo but finally got a 50 combo one:

Good effort, its hard to keep getting perfects if you stop and start.

I cunningly chose this song for that reason

I kept getting 51 combo! ARGHHH. Found a nice strategy though for combo limiting, though.

Let's see how this score does.

The three tries were 52 combo, 51 combo, 50 combo.

Meh...could do better but I'm too pissed at getting 51 combos right now.

This is actually decently tricky, it's hard to figure out where to let arrows miss because sometimes it's too easy to overcompensate the combo counter.

Got misses down to 10:

I'm sure 9 is possible but I am not going to let that stupid combo counter continue giving me 50+ combo

I made some maths and here's the best you can get:
476 Perfects
0 Goods
0 Averages
9 Misses
0 Boos
50 Max Combo

gabgabo: Technically the problem is not as simple as it may look. Even though mathematically there is room for a minimum of 9 misses, there is no guarantee that it will satisfy the 50-max combo thing. I mean, odds are it can, but sometimes if you miss one and keep hitting after it, you get a 51+ combo due to the combo lag. It's a factor that requires weight, but it probably isn't too huge in this case because there are so many chances to get a 50 combo.

The thing to get 9 misses is to always get a miss after you get 50 combo.
Also, I don't know what you mean by "combo lag".

That is untrue though -- sometimes missing after a 50 still gets you a 51 because you hit new arrows before the miss of the missed arrow registers = 50+ combo

This is definitely true. Or, in my case, you have a 49 combo and hit a double -_-
