Default Zeitgeist

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...81422995115331

(not sure if this is NSFW, but it does have some language in it.)

So after watching this, I felt the need to spread the video.

I've always known that 9/11, the "War on Terror", etc were totally staged, but... wow.

This is 2 hours of video, and it's definitely worth it.

Can anyone debunk any of the issues mentioned in the video? I'm ESPECIALLY interested in the whole "North American Union" thing as well as the Amero and the idea of a Totalitarian government in the near future.

Oh god, this again.

There's an entire thread about this video, and virtually every claim they put forward is total nonsense backed up by more total nonsense, and circular citation.

I'm not sitting through 2 hours of that but personally I feel the whole George Bush staged 9/11 thing isn't true. I find the pictures and video they use are doctored and they tell you facts in ways to arouse suspicion. Personally I have watched two of these video's and my cousin has tried countless times to tell me it was George Bush but it doesn't make sense to me. IMO there were a bunch of pissed off Muslims...I find South Park depicts this well.

I remember this. The only way a plan like this would work is if everyone in the United States was lazy. Sure, the Bush administration can start stacking laws that will prevent us from certain rights if we don't carry our ID card or get the chip implemented, but I'm also quite sure the entire country won't stand for this. It's a violation of freedom.

I searched the forums first and didn't find it.

Could you give me some examples of the circular citation?

Or maybe a link to the other thread?

Then again it might be a case of the silent majority. People with attitudes such as "Well I don't do anything bad anyway so why worry about it?" wouldn't care about the issue and would let it go into effect.

Ditto, but we could only hope that anything implied by this video is true. There really isn't any proof of these implied claims like Bush staging 9/11 or that the religions are connected by astrology. Besides, the 2008 elections are just around the corner so why bother with implied claims (unless these claims are true and anyone involved in the elections are connected to these claims)?

Then again, if everyone has to get a chip surgically implanted in them, which puts their life at risk because you know, it's a surgery, a lot of those "silent" people would start caring. Why do I have to take a chance of losing my life because I did nothing wrong? Why do I have to do more or have rights taken away from me if I did nothing wrong?

I have no idea what chip this is. But I'm sure like any sort of chip, it's just under the skin, and not in your brain or near an organ or something. So I'm pretty sure that unless you get it installed by some back-alley doctor, you won't be risking your life.

Well, not everyone's body will react the same way with a foreign object in them.

However, that still doesn't change the fact that it's limiting our freedom, whether or not we do anything wrong.

Understandable, Scottish didn't actually state the name of the movie when he made the thread.

The conspiracy community and the astrology community (So I guess, especially the astrology conspiracy community?) has been guilty of circular citation for years. Basically if you look into it, they all write books that have lots of references and citations to back up their claims, but further examination shows that Person A cites person B and C as their proof, and person B cites person A and C as their proof, and Person C cites person A and B as their proof.

So they point to somebody else as backing up their claim, but that someone else only makes the same claim because they are pointing back for their support.

Here's what I'm thinking:

Assuming the video was right and that there will eventually be those crazy ID cards, chances are people would be losing them right and left or getting them stolen. Then, suddenly, the government would come out with a new form of identification; a chip that they could put under your skin. Opposed to the old way, this would seem to be much more convenient and would probably gain a lot of support.

I just hope that if/when the time comes, people will be prepared for it and be ready to defend their rights.

Did this video just get popular again? 'Cause I saw a 10 minute segment of it posted somewhere else today.

Wait, this is the video that makes the ludicrous claim that the media, government, and religion are part of a three pronged conspiracy, right?

Will watch it later.

Edit: read the Youtube comments and their ratings. Heh, I don't think I will, now.

If by shots you mean footage, then I shed an intellectual tear for you.

Um... already true.

that will prevent us from certain rights if we don't carry our ID card or get the chip implemented

Oh, I was under the impression that that was okay.... :/

the entire country won't stand for this. It's a violation of freedom.

Because none of those have happened before...
