It isn't a pointless or rhetorical question, but people who think that aren't really reading.
The chicken egg had to come first, like I said previously, because if it didn't the adult chicken could never exist. Apparently though, Master of Paranoia was too busy trying to "correct" my post to bother figuring out the point of what i was sayin, so I will recap for you all here. Everything comes from eggs, therefore, for there to be an adult chicken, it had to come from a chicken egg. Before they were a seperate species, they still came from eggs. When they were evolving into chickens, they still came from eggs. So the first actual chickens came from chicken eggs, because the ones that came before had to lay the damn things.

true but if evolution is made by the creature or the animal trying to survive i have to really start to evolve right about ....n...o...w.

animals can't evolve. random mutations in a body cell are usually disposed of, sometimes we call them cancer if they get out of control.
Only eggs can be evolved from their parents, not after the child is already born. |

the smallest unit that can evolve is a population...individuals cannot evolve...eggs can be evolved form thier parents, but this will not be significant, evolution takes many years...mutations can occur that form drastic changes in an individual, but it is likely that the alellic frequencies will not change

Eggs are just cells. Cells evolve into chickens. That simple.

The chicken developes in the womb, aka: egg. Womb gets smaller and turns into egg. The End.

Im positive the egg came first. According to darwins theory of evolution a chicken like creature layed the egg. The DNA mutated inside the egg as part of the evolution of the chicken. When the egg hatched the new mutated form of the chicken like creature was born which was infact what we know today as a chicken. simple i know
i go to college. |

No, the chicken came first. When life started, it was simply one celled organisms. Those evolved into multi-cell, and thus forth into egg laying creatures. The creature would have to evolve into an egg laying being before the egg can be laided, therefor, chicken before egg.

Well in my opinion first algae came, then fish, the amphibious animals, then dinosaurs, then mammals, THEN BIRDS.

Yes,there's no end to this topic. It can't be proven and everyone refuses to change their opinions and therefore we are at a standstill.
But I'd have to say the egg since the chicken did propably evolve from some other creature.
