I saw an S dropped from a fire boar, and while I was asking around for what drops the M, an assassin told me he got one from a drake.

So this level 48 thief who was throwing steelies asked me how I was doing so much damage. I'm level 47.

His stats are:
5 str
85 dex
5 int
175 (165+10)

Mine are:
4 str
80 dex
5 int
178 (166+12)

But, that couldn't be it. This guy has an 8 attack work glove. He had told me his attack: 88 ~ 423 (or 453, don't recall). Wtf? Mine is 118 ~ 376. Why is his minimum so much lower than mine? I kept asking him what his skills are. I told him I had maxed critical and 5 mastery. He finally got around to telling me his skills. He's like max l7, nimble, keen. Okay. But what are your second level skills? What is your claw mastery at? He's like huh, what? What's that? You mean dagger? Then, here's the rest of the convo.

He then added me to his buddy list and I told him to give me his steelies (which he wouldn't XD). I never noticed he was a bandit since he was level 48 and throwing stars. *shakes head*

I don't see how idiotic people can play the game enough to get past level 40. O____O And it's not even like this game is hard to understand.

Again, MMOs (and the internet in general) make me worry for mankind.

ONI, I THOUGHT YOU LOOKED FAMILIAR! I saw you in the Hen Hair salon and I was wondering if I recognized your name.

Lol, I came back to FFR to see if this thread was still open (assumed it was b/c its a sticky) when i hit lvl 70 because this is where i originally found out about MapleStory.

As for "M"s and "S"s I didnt get to play long yesterday but right before *edits*i LOGGED off OF MAPLE my friend (WHO IS A real life FRIEND AND lives about 4 blocks from me) *stops editing* found an S on an orange mushroom. This is enough proof for me, maybe not enough for some.

So that is what i will be doing today~Killing Green mushies, orange mushies, and pigs. Hey, ive already found a white chaos robe looking for letters on zombie mushies, might as well find a panlid too ;D lmao

Ill post back if i find an M or S and tell what dropped

I think it is good that we actually kill monsters for the quest and get a little exp. The candy quest wasted my time and I didn't get any exp while hunting for candy for 2 hours. Still looking for an M and an S. btw, how much are the letters worth in Scania?

Finally got all the letter, didn't find M or S but i have a LITTLE more information. Orange Mushrooms definately drop "S"s (I assume if a monster drops S it drops M but better to be safe) and i also KNOW that pigs, not sure whether ribbon or not, drop S (saw someone get one next to me -_-)

Anyway, i got 2 "S"s for pretty cheap and then traded an S for an M, worked out pretty nicely, now hopefully i get at least some maple points =P

I still can't find that damn M or S. I spent two hours this morning literally killing nothing but Orange Mush and all I got was every fricking letter in the alphabet except M or S. I'm about to just say "fsck it" and get back to getting to Level 33 which I now am at 67%.

One of them was IL the other was LL, if I remember correctly. I couldn't get a better ss because they were hasted and running through.

I gave up on finding the letters too. I doubt they are giving away a lot of points for the cash shop anyways. Almost to level 40! I'm so excited!

Woohoo. 100k. That's alot of points. Not. Anyways, I'm probably gonna hit 33 this weekend and finally have almost 10 in Fire Arrow. Life is good. Well not for the poor turkeys I've killed. XD

Just hit 48 and I'm going to bed after I try my hand at some Yetis. I mean, I have no exp to lose anyway, might as well go fight the adult versions of these little dudes I've been attacking. :P

PS: Checked min-max damage on HS.net just now, with med. 1008 ~ 1680 normally, 1512 ~ 2520 to fire-weak things. ^___________^

EDIT:

Killed 2, a 3rd one killed me because I was shooting backed to the left and couldn't jump in time. Oh well, had nothing to lose.

Leveled to 38... *sigh. Now, I'm going to stay at level 38 until I get back from vacation. Maybe I can play some DDR or something and break my horrible ms addiction.

Well, after a weekend of no play, I finally get this computer set up.

And what do I find? The crappy graphics card sucks too fucking bad to play MS. Awesome.

Ah well, at least Noah will be able to catch up to Eric and I since, unless I'm mistaken, Eric said he wouldn't be playing this weekend.

So, congrats, Noah. You got lucky.

Okay, I played this game off and on before uninstalling it on this computer. Now that I have more free time, I want to play it again, so I downloaded it.

Whenever I try to run the game, my monitor goes into idle mode. I can hear the game music and everything, my monitor just displays nothing. It won't display anything until I restart the computer.

This happen to anyone else? How doth I fix it?

Mal
