Gah ... you guys have the worst luck. I hate training just to find something though ... I usually have a friend who'll hook me up. Like the guy on my BL that gave me 26 cakes ...

God, there are people like Mega5 who spend loads of money just to spam stupid crap on Maple :/ Wonder how much they get spammed. And no, I'm not just talking a few hundred dollars they've spent. I mean LOADS of money doing POINTLESS stuff.
OH MY GOD I NEED TO GO ON MS AND GET A MAPLE HAT. I need to play like 20 hours in the next 2 days. |

God, I've seen him use over $100 worth of Smegas in less than one hour. $30 worth in less than 30 seconds. He does it in bursts. It's as if he either:
1) Gets a discount from Nexon. 2) Is from a rich family where he just asks his parents for literally thousands of dollars and ends up spending them ENTIRELY on MS Smegas :/ or 3) Needs a source of attention and entertainment so badly that he is willing to spend tons of money. That's all I can think of. I mean it's one thing to spend $100 on MS, but it's another thing to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on MS SMEGAS. |

I hate to be one of those "omg u wast money on gam" ******s, but this is an enormous amount of money we're talking about. This is more than many people get paid in a month, rofl.

uh... Tosh.
I think you're forgetting that there is a limit to how much a person can charge per account per period of time. If a person makes less money than this in a month, that person only works like 1 day per month or doesn't have a job or is payed MUCH LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE.

It's really sad that you get so much less than 300 * retz's exp for that quest. =\

So he probably charges maximum, then waits until he can do it again and repeats. Then he has a orgasm in-game. |

Especially since I killed 1000 in the double drop event alone.

That quest is totally worth it for i/l wizards.
ps I did it, Noah. Could have come out a bit better, but I feel it works fairly well for proof of concept. ![]()

We see him waste like a hundred Smegas in the hour or two we're on. Seriously, dude. He like spams 10 in a matter of seconds, comes back in a few minutes, and does it again. He's been doing this for months. You'd figure he'd run out of money or something. That or he's getting them for free somehow. If he were, though, Nexon would've found out by now... Maybe he's getting an unlimited charge limit or a discount or something along those lines. I mean something weird has to be going on here. No one in their right mind would spend this much money just to be known. In fact, no insane person would either. |

Not to beat a dead horse with other people on this subject matter, but this game is really just grinding, and then when you level up you grind some more... with little to no gain, except for like.. a clothes change. I really don't see any point to it except to chat with the people in it, because the grinding is pointless, boring, and isn't exactly "fun", which is what games are supposed to be.

If you don't find it fun, don't play it. I only fight in places that are fun for me. When I stop having fun there, I go somewhere else. If there is nowhere else, I stop playing. Why play a game if you don't find it fun? o_O?
Speaking of fun, I've been having a lot of fun with HunterStory. I just hit 4th joba lil while ago and lemme tell ya, if advanced mastery is as sweet in the real MS as it is in HunterStory, bows/xbows will own ass. EDIT: Speaking of 4th job for bowmen... Jason, can you please show me the math that you are always claiming about how level 1 sharp eyes doubles damage? I don't see how you came to that conclusion. I'd like to see the math used...

Oh and umm double CRITICAL damage, not total... xD... Level 1 = 11%. Know how regular critical description says 200% but it's actually a +100% increase? Well, this one says 11% at level 1 and it's actually +111%. For classes with critical already, this adds onto the critical they currently have (along with the % chance). It's not separate and it's not +11% critical. Thus with level 1 Sharp Eyes, a hermit's critical changes from 50% chance for 100% extra damage to 51% chance for 211% extra damage. >_> Last edited by banditcom; 05-30-2007 at 09:47 PM.. |

Oh by the way, since I figure we'll be getting Leafre before too long, does anyone know how I can find out what monsters ER works with and which ones don't? I mean, I could just walk through Leafre when it comes out and test it, but to know in advance would be super cool.
