Is the Terminating the Dark Force quest repeatable? The one where you need 30 dull crystals and 10 dark crystal ores. Someone told me it was, so I went out and bought like 85 dark crystal ores, thinking each ten would cost me around a million, and the scrolls from that quest would give me a nice profit.

Doesn't INT still do so much more than LUK, even for accuracy?
I mean, I see no point in it. I mean, I admit, sometimes I wish I had LUK because then I'd have some equipment to look forward to every couple levels instead of just some dumb scroll that comes whenever I make money(which is based on the luck of my drops). But that doesn't mean I'm going to stay away from pure int. |

And Tosh, the point of it isn't to say "luk is better than lukless". In fact, I'd say the minor difference of accuracy should never be the deciding factor here. The popular idea is that lukless has more accuracy, but do people choose lukless because of that? No. Fact is that 9 times out of 10, a lukless will do more damage. The only point here is to prove that lukless does not have more accuracy and that luk DOES help luk mages more than simply making them lose less exp when they die. ps anyone interested in luk as magic accuracy, check out the thread I linked to before. In that thread someone links to a thread at hidden-street.net in which a person posts images of a level 28 pure luk mage attacking monsters and not missing.

Nope, the quest isn't repeatable. It's once only.

Ah... damn. Time to sell a crapload of dark crystal ores. Either way... I bought most of them for 70K each. I'm sure I can sell them back to people for 100K each. 30K profit per ore, I think I have like 68 left.. that's nearly 2.1 mil in profit =) (Before subtracting taxes)

Wow ... this is a big thread.
I play on Bera ... have a Lvl 49 Spearman and a Lvl 32 Cleric ... Anyone know what level of Heal I need to start effectively taking down Zombie Mushies? |

Nah, my heal is level 4, and it barely does 5-40 dmg to each of them.

Heal is never effective for fighting zombie mushroom. By the time your heal can outdamage your claw, you're better off on higher level monsters.

Also, in general, no magician spell is decent at all until it's at least halfway maxed. My cleric has like 24 heal and it's still not very good at damaging enemies.

That's actually probably because heal is weak and has bad mastery. Even maxed it does fairly bad damage.

Heal mastery sucks -.- On a single zombie lupin, I can hit anywhere from 11xx to 2xx.
