That sounds straight forward enough. I can't tell you how many times I had to beg and get killed before I had even enough meso to get to Ellinia. =(

Chromer, you do know you can take a taxi for pennies when you're a beginner, right?

armor may not stack with other things. You never answered that question......
You STILL never answered this question. I already know that YOU think magic armor is useless, but I wanna decide for myself, and much of my decision rests on this question.
Whenever one skill affects the same thing another skill does (Such as Weapon Defense), the last-cast one will override the first.

Example. (100 Weapon Defense)

Rage cast. -10 Weapon Defense (90)

Bless cast. +20 Weapon Defense (120)

Level 1 Bless cast. +1 Weapon Defense (101)

The last-cast skill will simply take the base value and add / subtract to that.

Therefore, if you were crazy enough to max Armor, you'd want to cast it first, then Bless. +40 useless Weapon Defense and +20 everything else Bless adds to.

~Squeek

PS - NOTE: Invincible does not change your weapon defense, therefore Invincible and whatever Weapon Defense booster you use will stack!

I know that Tokzic. That's why I transferred my meso from my first character and put it on my 2nd one.

So I decided to go back to Ossy to kill Star Pixies to look for panlid.

Even if I didn't get a panlid, I may get another good drop, and I'd still end up with lots of stars for exchange quest.

Anyway, I hop down to a platform with two pixies. I kill one. He dropped this and a star.

Then I killed the other and only got a star :(

I always figured that Cody asks you the question because

A: they want to make an exclusive gMS island
B: They want to know where they should sell pre paid cards for cash shop.

It's obvious no matter what that America will win. Americans most likely make up the most of the internet. =P

Finally hit 38 =) That means I dumped 6 points into lit.

And THIS right here is why I'm so glad I chose to be a Lit Wizard.

I made like 200k selling Steel Ores because they're in such high demand right now. 3k a piece, and I had more than 50. =D

And I'll have more than 1mil on Sunday, I have an auction for that scroll going on SW, and it's up to 710k last I checked.

BIG EDIT:

Well, I was just thinking to myself (by which I mean typing out my thoughts in notepad... shut up.) and I ended up writing this:

Quote:
For this example, I'll use 2000 horns.
It takes 100 for the exchange quest.
Packs of 100 horns shall hereby be referred to as, "bundles."

That gives us 20 bundles.

Now, for each exchange quest, I recieve 500 EXP, and maybe... 1000 mesos worth of items? Somewhere around there.

That means for 20 exchange quests, I get 10,000 EXP.

At level 38, it takes 240500 EXP to advance a level. That's 481 exchange quests in total.

If I put the 20 bundles into the EQ, I get .04 levels, and about 20,000 mesos.

If I sell the horns for 100 each, which appears to be fairly easy to do, I make 200,000 mesos.

Why the hell am I still doing exchange quests?

Default I wonder if any will notice that I changed the subject

Exchange quests are good for lower levels. My rogue at level 10 gained two levels from 800 horns.

Afro, I hate you. I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you. I've been doing that for so long and nothing.

Quote:
If I put the 20 bundles into the EQ, I get .04 levels,
eric, that can't be right. Jr. Grupins give me .02% exp, and they are 65 exp. EQ is 500 exp, so that's almost 10x as much, which is close to .2% exp. I personally think it's very worth it. Hold up, lemme grab my calculator and check your math. Ohhh, I see what you did. You divided those two and got .04. Multiply that by 100 and you get the % gain. So really, you gain 4% from 20 bundles. To me, that's way worth the money and effort.

Plus, once I can kill star pixies in one hit (next level), I will whore them for panlid and the helmet scroll I can get from the EQ, because I'd rather have a +1H matty than a guil that doesn't add +2 int. Personally, I love the EQ. =D

Well yeah, .04 levels = 4%. Not worth it to me =\.

Anyway, Chris and I adventured to Hot Sand. We owned, as displayed in this rather good screenshot.

Somehow I whored my way to 68. I can't believe it myself. That is the fastest I have leveled in MONTHS.

lol i hab lvl 4 energie bolt nows.

Remember those 11 useless points to spend? I've spent one on Magic Amor, one on Holy Arrow, and 3 on Energy Bolt so far. Bustin 300s with my Bolt.

~Squeek

PS - I wish you could see my friend really tear up Hot Sands. He's a level 83 Bandit. All he does is confronts an enemy and uses Savage Blow as he jumps over it. He cycles around the entire room in less than a minute. It's crazy.

But yeah, don't level there at your stage. I think you might be able to 1HKO pigs, so try mass-killing those? If those are too easy, try out Horned Mushrooms. When those are too easy, move up to Zombie Mushrooms and eventually Evil Eyes. At level 50 or so, you start killing Lorangs and such.

Hi guys I've been tracking this thread for a while already (:

I'm a MapleSEA player and I must say that MapleSEA is damn different from MapleGlobal. Like for the fact we need 99 of each type of omok pieces and one bloody omok table to make an omok set -_-"

I was wondering, Squeek, if I say I want to pump holy arrow and ignore MP eater instead do you think that'll be a good idea?

Yeah, we were just adventuring. I've been training on Jr. Grupins pretty exclusively (or fire boars when I'm in Victoria). I don't like one hit kill things that much, because I like gathering up giant mobs and flattening them all, and you just can't do that with one hit kills.

MSea is pretty roxor in its own way. Sure, you have to pay more to take the ride to and from Orbis... and there's the stuff you mentioned, but you are getting things sooner than we do in Global.

I wish we had a sponsor so we could get things sooner...

Anyway, current speculation in SW.net says YES, dropping MP Eater for Holy Arrow is acceptable. The two skills to decide between have now become Holy Arrow and MP Eater, as both of those can be labeled as 'non-party skills'. As in, they benefit yourself moreso than your party. Here's how I look at it.

MP Eater: Saves money.
Holy Arrow: Saves boredom.

Even so, I'd get Holy Arrow late. Not from 40-50.

Quote:

Bandit or Assassin? Well, doesn't matter much. You go in order of 1HKO here.

Evil Eyes (720 HP) 50 EXP
Fire Boars (1000 HP) 60 EXP
Jr. Grupin / Cellion / Lioner (1100 HP) 65 EXP
Curse Eyes (1250) 70 EXP

At you approach 50, you're getting Booster and Haste (if you follow the guides of those who know more about this). With Booster, 1HKO doesn't matter anymore. So you start taking Golems and stuff.

Yup MSEA does rox it's just that the people that play it keep complaining no wonder people label Singaporeans as "complain kings and queens"

Anyway my cleric is lvl 31 and going on to lvl 32 so still gotta max out heal anyway =/ But I still dunno what to train on, totally clueless. Wish MSEA had tubes and surfboards :P

I was wondering if I maxed out holy arrow then should I max out mp eater or teleport? Cuz people have been telling me that teleport is extremely important later on as you'll have to keep teleing around while mp eater... It's like, how much bloody mp can a monster have? Even a crimson rog only has 500 bloody mp only and once it's all leeched mp eater is virtually useless

I can 1HKO the pigs without the ribbons, but the ones with the ribbons take 2-3 hits from my Magic Claw. I'm not sure where to go for pigs because Pig Beach is crazy crowded, but when I am alone, I get slaughtered because of the crazy respawn rate. There is always that one area with pigs between Elliania and Heresy(sp?)... And, where are horned mushrooms because I can only find the green ones...
