I'm about to get a Golden one. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in this game since they didn't release the Blood or Dark boards. My friend is a Polearm Spearman and she really needed that Blood board.

What do all the snowboards do/where can I get them? Hopefully not from anything in Ossy, cuz I just shipped back over to Victoria last night. XD

Hidden Street seems to not even mention the new winter items. Anyone care to tell where to get them?

Snails from what I've heard. Oh sweet Jesus I also heard one of the biggest rumors ever. Wizet might be planning to put in 3rd Jobs in the V.15 Patch. It might or might not be true but oh well.

All I know is that my Silver Snowboard dropped from a Copper Drake. Another guy who had a silver said he got it from a friend, who got it in B2.
I think Sky Snowboards drop from slimes. |

Well I decided to make an account instead of sharing my brothers and I gave up on making a warrior because the dice did not roll in my favor so I choose what came up best and it was a magician.
My roll: 4/4/12/5 Account: JayZeus Character: JayZeus So you can add me the buddy list while I read the guide to magicians. Feel free to give me so n00b gear to help me out. ^_^ Edit: If you could tell me what kind of magician to be and things like that.

Man I'm so confused right now. I want to have Savage Blow so frickin badly, however after seeing that kickass Hermit video, I want to become an Assassin. Any help guys? I dunno if I should put anything in Double Stab now that I use a dagger to level up.

Afro's patented guide to mages---
--advantages Fire/poison: High max damage for fire arrow. Seriously. Like a lot of max damage like crazy. Lightning/Ice: Mass attack with good damage with Lightning. Also, Ice can freeze things for short periods of time. Cleric: Can heal self and party members easily using very little MP. Can mass attack undead creatures. Makes gobs of money easily since they never need HP pots and they mass kill zombies quickly. Buffs are definitely an advantage, but the have different sorts. Lightning and fire mages get meditate which, unless I'm mistaken adds to magic attack. Clerics get Invincible (which only works for them), decreases the amount of damage taken by a percent, and Bless (party skill) which adds to weapon defense, magic defense, and a few other seemingly useless stats. --disadvantages Fire/poison: poison kinda sucks in my opinion. Can't mass attack until 3rd job. Lightning/Ice: Personally, I see no disadvantages... only thing I can think of is something like "can't heal self" or stupid crap like that. If anyone with experience in this department can point out a disadvantage, I'd appreciate it. Cleric: Damage dealt is minimal compared to the other types of mages. Also, there are a lot of clerics, so finding a good spot can be hard sometimes. _____________________ All in all, it comes down to your personality. If you like hitting one thing at a time for a crapload of damage, go for fire. If you like mass attacking things or freezing them, go for ice/lightning. If you like healing yourself and helping your party members out, go for cleric. PS I FUCKING HATE YOU FOR GETTING A PERFECT ROLE. PPS I anticipate lvl 50 by the end of tommorow. When will we be going down to El Nath?

Thanks Afro that was good information but I still have not decided on which type to be. I'm not sure by the front page but when you gain a level but do you put the ablility point like so... 4 in Int and 1 in Luk ? If not please correct me.

gower, put as much in int as possible. The reason being that the more int you have when you level, the more MP you get upon level up. Only add luck when you need to. For example, say you need 15 luck at a certain level to equip something. The level before that, you should have exactly 10 luck, so that way you can have enough to equip the thing, but still have as much int as possible for as long as possible. Adding 1 luck and 4 int every level works, but you'll have a little less MP.
And the disadvantage of ice/lightning is: Not many ice-weak things until WAY later on, as in the volcano area before Zakum. The best thing to level on for a while (lorangs) go quite fast and do quite a bit of damage, so you'll use a lot of HP/MP pots if you grind on them. Ice/lightning are definitely the poorest of the mages. Fire mages do pretty well (I do, at least) and clerics tend to be rich as hell. Also, one disadvantage of I/L mages in my eyes is that they don't get meditation since they get both attacks. Poison is pretty useless until 3rd job, so they can get meditation without worries, and become useful to mage parties. Ice does get the power to freeze things, which is helpful since you can stop things without knocking them back. Of course, fire can just knock stuff back earlier. I obviously recommend fire, if you can hold out for 3rd job. Quote:
And as for cool videos, I guess you missed the 3rd job bandit killing adult yetis with meso explosion and that zooming stab skill. Meso explosion is sort of impractical, though, since you can't drop money if you're hurt. It has lots of uses, though, but it shouldn't really factor in at this point, since 3rd job isn't out and probably won't be out for some time. :\ And finally, people still haven't told me what the snowboards DO. Like, what level are they and do they add jump like other snowboards, or what?

![]() I'll outdamage you guys even more. Well, Pat (Ignite) and I will.. since he left his characters and joined with me. Not like we'll get way ahead in leveling or anything. It's just, he didn't want to play his characters anymore. So he traded over EVERYTHING. I was doing good money wise, but then this topped it off. He's only trained about 32% so far in 2 levels on my, err our, character. Yes, I trust him. I have been working my ass off selling stuff though. It took about 2 hours total to make up my sleepywood thread from start to finish (ss, hidden street, prices, write up). I've been selling a lot of things. I got a lot of drops today.. NPC value: 40k, 40k, 70k. Plus a gold ore and a bc ore. Pat found a 35k drop. AND my silver snowboard.... I got another tobi to make it 3 when Pat traded his stuff. But, we had to sell two today to get the 10.6 million 6 attack brown moon glove. Oh man. Also, getting 3 sets of level 40 Jane quests items. One for my character, two for his two. We have nearly everything for all 3. We did the 25 quest and all parts of the 40 quest for his IvoryMask character. In the end, 60% spear attk for the 25 quest and yes, a 60% glove for the 40! Nice!! Two more to go. I still have a million mesos, a 10 def panlid, 2 old claws (soon to be 3 old claws), fairy wand +7, and a few other items to sell like a claw scroll plus those scrolls I listed. Probably sell our icicles too. Then get more tobis to add to the one we still have. Hopefully we get 2 more 60%s and no 10%s for the glove attacks. We're just keeping our level 40 dark shadow set. Our pilfer is +3 luk too. I'll probably sell the sonata I bought. I already have a white nap, 5 100% luk scrolls, and a +7 sapphire slain. So, I'm all set for 50, which is 25.26% away. ![]() Good times. Very good times. Max haste at 50, then 3 endure, 15 drain, 19 mastery, max drain, some more in booster, and some more in endure (enough to survive in nath hanging on a rope.. don't know how much that is). |

Bandit, Endure actually works on or off ropes. Cheapest thing ever. You need to be able to cure 20 HP every 10 seconds to live in the cold. Also, I hope that Slain isn't 100%d. If it is, you're gonna suck. Odds are good that you won't get your level 60 claw for...ever. They sell for much more than you will ever have.
EB, that skill with the single strike for Bandits is known as Assaulter. It's weaker than Savage Blow. The only thing useful with it is that single hit over the 6 other ones. Meso Explosion is only useful really if you're using Pickpocket beforehand, which knocks coins out of the enemy and scatters them on the ground. THEN blow that up. But the skill most will max first is Thieves, which is one of the fastest and strongest 6-hit attacks in the game. Also, snowboards WOULD have been useful if they put out the Blood one. That one is godly for a Polearm Spearman. Its highest base attack is 2 above the average on the level 60 polearm, but it's a Normal speed instead of a Slow. Scroll one of those up nicely and you'll have a really hawt weapon. As they are now, they're just slightly more powerful than normal Polearms. ~Squeek |

And yea, bandits are a horrible class. They are a weak warrior with no slash blast...... The only thing they have going for them is high avoidability and accuracy..... Other than thieves 3rd job.
gowhere: You have a perfect roll and you're NOT going all int no luk?? WTF. GO ALL INT DUDE. Squeek: It does? SWEET! Hmm.. I'll need to calculate how much I need then. I'll do that later. But yea, it's 100% scrolled. I know about the claw thing. Plus a bronze gig is about 20 million, which I have nearly that amount in worth anyways. But yea, I won't get one of those. My next buy, after the Tobis, is a 38 attack slain. My 100% scrolled one cost me 650k. It will do for now man. I'm not planning on keeping it for good. :P |
