Basically it is reality TV, but on the internet, and untelevised. I'll just let the link explain it. I'm actually rather interested, even though they are obviously advertising AOL. In fact, something like an FFR team could work, and if we win, the money could go to the site, or something.

Sounds interesting. FFR is a pretty big community, so the 'FFR Team' would have to be private somehow. I wouldn't put it past somebody on the internet to leech off of the findings of those on a public forums. Either way, I might keep track on this... give me something to do with my time.

FFR Team - Myself, Reach, ap, Tass, Jurs.
Those are all I can think of; they are some of the smartest on the board. A team like this would have an awesome chance of winning.

Would help if the site loaded, it stays at 0% for me.
I'd be interested in this even if you could have two FFR teams, an alpha and a beta team, with such a large community it should be no problem. Just saying that because I'd be interested in being in a team. |

I would rather the teams be composed of just regulars, so noobs don't join just to win money. If I were the leader, I'd pick the people I mentioned to invite users into the teams. If someone wants to join, they have to talk to one of them, and there has to be a vote in their favor (3/4ths majority) for them to enter the team.
So it would be like this: Twilight_Overlord - Leader (I mean, I did come up with the idea) Team Panel Members: (These are the people I think would be most capable) Reach Aperson Tass Jurs And everybody else. A private forum would be a good idea, so other people can't just steal our stuff. I'll talk to Synthlight about it.

Ugh, pop culture. Well, I suppose Jurs would be a good fit for that then.
I'm not sure if the above-mentioned people would be interested in it either, you should probably check with them. |

Yeah, the whole pop-culture thing was quite a turnoff, personally. I'd rather it be just general stuff, or some kind of notpr0n puzzle.

I watched a couple of their videos. Never have I heard so much advertising for one company in that 2 minute session.

Hmmm....I wish it wasn't only on pop culture. I don't really watch t.v. that much, so I would probably not too great. AOL should broaden the topics, but of course, it looks like that won't be happening. = /

It loaded. I'm not interested. I hate today's pop-culture. I don't want to slit my wrists or watch some weird singer on TV just to win some money.
PS: It's practically asking you to watch every damn TV show and buy every magazine to win some money. Saying anything there?

Only thing it's saying is Twilight is already trying to distinguish several members of FFR that are well known and are Veterans to himself who is not technically a newb, but still pretty new around here. My take? Sounds rather bland and is a perfect example of the "buy this if you want to do this" syndrome. I'll stay onm the sidelines and see how the game unfurls.

I don't know **** about pop culture.
Sounds fun if it wasn't for money and was just an online game for communities, but since it's a real reality thing, I probably wouldn't do well in it. |
