The math and logic questions are simple for me. It's these....word ones that are hard. I think I have 13-14 answers now, but have almost none on the first page other than #1 and 2. WTF @ the coldplay thing. Uh yea, a lot of these have cultural bias in them. I don't even listen to coldplay and havn't seen the album cover, how would I know? There are other ones that require outside knowledge to solve as well. edit: I got 17...cookie ^_^ 15 complete, I think I'll do 25 now to top it off at 16. edit: oh what that took a whole 2 seconds.

Ok, they obviously lied when they said they kept the culture to a minimum. I feel bad for complaining about some of Reach's problems after seeing this test. And number 8 looks pretty nasty.
It seems that using a computer program is the easiest way to solve a couple of these. |

Which ones would you need a computer program for? Most of the number/math ones are easy by hand with some pre calculus knowledge. It might help for the table/girls one though (or maybe some of the ones I havn't solved lol) But I suppose that just goes to show that there is definitely an advantage here if you're knowledgable in mathematics - computer science. I've also noticed some bias in a couple of the solutions. I've found solid, inrefutable answers under the conditions stated by the question, yet have found more than one answer. So either they are excepting more than 1 answer to some of the questions, which I doubt they are, or this is one of those cases where they want the best answer, aka the answer the test maker solved for, aka where they have derived their definition of intelligence, which stems the inherent flaw of testing IQ. Has anyone figured out #24?

Well the big one I see that a computer would help is 6. 2 isn't difficult, but a program may have been a little faster, at least for me. I haven't really looked into 11, maybe it would help and maybe not.

The first thing that sprang to my head was that #24 has each letter as a variable, I don't know if this is right or not. I'm going on vacation and i'm printing this out, maybe do a few of them :P I haven't done much work on them today (none at all actually) and I still haven't figured out 17
which is a damn shame. Any small hints would be appreciated haha.ps your number 25, its wrong. If this test is meant to test IQ, it is very wrong. I don't actually believe in the concept of IQ as, for example, my mom is better in me at math and science, but when it comes to business or oratory skills, she has none. In fact, doing these correctly doesn't even prove you're smart, although I'd say that there is a pretty damn good chance you are. It's all really obscure riddle solving, if you're good at riddles you're good at this. I consider this more fun than a true test of intelligence. We should have a debate about the problems of measuring intelligence accurately.

ugh 24 is being such a dicktease
theres a numerical coincidence that could either be meaningless or the key to the problem

I started taking some of their Iq tests, and the little cheats don't put up a single correct answer on their visual memorization problems

The correct answers were there when I took them XD
There are actually normed quite well, and are set up and score very similar to a real test. Quote:
In order to test 'IQ' you have to define intelligence, which...I don't think anyone has properly defined yet. Thus IQ tests test what is on the test itself, and how well you fair at the test, not necessarily how intelligent you are. This is definitely not an intelligence test XD even though its setup is much like something like the megatest, the questions are more biased. What I think IQ tests do well is test within the normal range. They are very good at doing 3 things: 1. Telling you if you're retarded 2. Telling you if you're average intelligence 3. Telling you if you're above average intelligence. Beyond this they're fairly useless. High level IQ is very poorly understood. Also, you often have ceiling syndrome on tests where scores near the ceiling get screwed up. For example, I took a test and scored 148 on it. At this stage, it means i'm higher than 99.93% of the populations scores. This becomes a huge problem on nearly every test, because now that means that each question I answer correctly will inflate my score tenfold because you're not really 'supposed' to score this high in the first place- you've wandered off too far from the mean. So I could get one more question right and score like, 156, or two more right and 164. Two questions certainly arn't worth more than an entire standard deviation in intelligence XD Also, any tests that have attempted to fix this have in doing so, created other problems I won't discuss now, but yea, we're still pretty 'noob' at testing intelligence.

I may have an answer for 3, but I have no way of knowing if it is right. If I'm not mistaken, they corrected an error in #2 putting negative signs on both balloons.

![]() ![]() Note the top left four squares. I've already sent out an e-mail to the higher ups, they're reviewing their test. |

#2 is confusing. Does it matter where the weights are, or simply what side they are on?

Rofl. Wow, nice find. I hope they arn't all like that xD
Or maybe that's why I can't seem to break 140-145 on their test >.> I swear, I'll be like, I got every single question right I think, other than maybe the memory ones, and then get like, 142. For those I usually just look at the whole thing really, and then when the selections come up I quickly pick the one I think it is.

Finally got 24...
So far I have 10 for sure, and 2-3 half done. 13 is being dumb :\ I think I'll be able to get 15 of these total. Some I'm just not doing, like number 2, unless there is some magical way that takes out all the math work, I really don't feel like it. Even though I probably could get it if I spent the time. ps here is a hint for 24, read the title just got number 7, it was pretty easy... 11 100% complete, 4 that I'm slightly unsure of but I have arrived at a conclusion of some sort...

I noticed the typo in the title a longggggggg time ago. First time I looked at it. Which gave me some leads but nothing worked, so...meh.
I'm at like 16 done but havn't made any progress.
