I doubt cuivien is a new XFAD. I'll believe his legitimacy until proven otherwise. SMO is good enough proof for me since it isn't all that easy to hack (well, it IS easy to hack but the server will record the actual score and he's linked to the server recorded score).
^it's hard to hack it so that the server records a fake score. actually I can't think of anything that could be done :X

Aren't Uber Rave and Kick Your A the same BPM? If you do that well on Uber Rave you should be doing A LOT better on Kick Your A. (edit: 11 BPM difference Shouldn't make that much of a change in score)
I still think it's pretty sketchy. Also, Where the hell is that Flames song from? I've never heard of it/didn't care when I did.

dballin4: I probably could have done somewhat better on KYA if it didn't have the crappy part with small trills after the jumps and before the streams... I usually have sdp or something when I get there, so it's all in my incapabillity to read non-straightforward stuff :P
and flames of the sky is in F4, I think.. dunno for sure though, as I got it from a SM compo folder.. ![]() |

Just inconsistent scores, his strengths and weaknesses as a player just aren't... normal. Start playing songs with weird stream patterns (Gaussian Blur comes to mind, for me anyways), or songs with lots of trills n stuff. Find songs with streams that you don't do well on and whore em to death. ^_^

rewind690: I've said it a couple of times now, but... I only have this one skill in sm.. I can MA really well on straight-forward stuff like 16th streams up to around 180-185 bpm (and 8th jumps up to around 190)..
Stuff that throws more complicated things = crap. Stuff that's above said bpm = crap. Stuff with jumpstreams = crap, but this one I'm blaming on index :P That being said, can people point me in the direction of (fun) files that can help me gain speed? I seem to be playing a bit too much One More Lovely, Rain of a thousand Flames and Vertex -beta- lately...:P edit@ Tunic: changed avatar, didn't want to be confused for someone else ![]() edit@Z3ratul: "his strengths and weaknesses as a player just aren't... normal" That's right, I'm... special (in a weird way) :P Last edited by cuivien2; 05-2-2006 at 05:27 PM.. |

I like doing this... warm-up first, and then play songs that are really fast for you (for me, that's 250 BPM, Reality, etc). Play em for hours, and it makes your speed get better pretty fast. I did that for about 4 hours and came back to Strange Program and my score went up by like 6mil.

Besides, I remember when 180bpm used to be my ceiling, I used to not be able to consistently AA Kick Your A while being able to FC Ub3r R4v3... granted, my MA was crap, but that's just my thing. Lol.

My best on Uber Rave is 11 perfects. My best on Kick Your A is somewhere in the 30-40 range. I still don't get why it's THAT much of a difference. Whatever I really don't care. good job.
