WHo actually likes this game better than normal DDR? DDR has better songs with better lyrics and better names. And DDR uses dance hits. Does ITG? No. Has anyone heard of their songs before?! I havent.

Better names? O_o
True DDR may have good music, but you certainly cannot deny ITG's song selection. One of the biggest gripes I have with DDR is that it uses a lot of mainstream music now in their CS versions ( OMG OOPS I DID IT AGAIN IS LEIK DA GR8TST!!! *faints* ). While ITG may have a lot of techno, you cannot deny that it's good techno. You won't find a Hardcore Symphony on DDR. In addition, ITG's steps are harder yet more varied, and lot more work has been put into them than many of the steps in DDR. By the way, have you heard of E-Rotic? They're this Eurobeat group that made a few songs in DDR, and players that were in the DDR scene from the beginning likely still remember them today. ITG has a lot of their songs, and so far within the US, more of them appear in ITG than DDR.

I started to play ITG a couple of days ago. During these days playing ITG has been all I'm doing. Trunks, you shouldn't say stuff like "better music" because that's just your opinion. now, don't get me wrong. personally I think that DDR is (in my opinion) better. I enjoy playing ITG and I think that it has great music selection. Go up to somebody that you have never spoken to before and ask them if they know D.J Taka, I really doubt they will know who you are speaking about. Same thing with E-rotic. all i am trying to say is that superiority within DDR and ITG does not exist.

I've been a DDR player for the last 4 years......and compared to ITG.............DDR totally sucks!! I got soooo sick of playing songs that never changed. ITG songs can change by putting on one of numurous mods on, and besides that, ITG songs totally destroy DDR songs. They're longer, harder, and sound better as well. I used to love DDR, but when ITG came out, I totally quit DDR all together. And besides aaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll of that, DDR Extreme is like (what) 4 or 5 years old.....everything has already been done and AAA'd, there's nothing to go for anymore.....no goal. On ITG, its hard enough to pull off a good 99% let alone a 100%, so there's always a challenge. So I say screw anyone who disses ITG and sticks with DDR. And as for Supernova......we'll see.........well, until ITG 3 comes out!

not to say ITG is not a fantastic and utterly amazing and fun game to play but DDR is what brought it to be so ITG just cant be better for that reason and that reason alone :P

1. better theme 2. better song for the guys who don't like lyrics, like me. 3. the authors of the music actually talk with their fan even if it's only AIM. Hell, I got KeeL's and Kid Whatever's AIM name. 4. Arrows look nicer. 5. The marathons are better. 6. Some of the songs were heard before they were on it. Sweet World was on the Geico commercial where the lizard break dances. Kid Whatever made "Dance While Tha Rekkid Spinz" back in the early 90s. It got popular quick. But as a complete joke. Then it got serious. You signature made my entire property emo. Now the grass is cutting itself. 7. Longer songs. 8. No "Butterfly" Or songs like it. 9. They actually release games without a 3 year waiting period. 10. The makers and authors are fun to be around. I met KeeL and Plaguefox 2 weeks ago. Their hella nice and cool. 11. It gets harder. Keeps you motivated to do more. 12. It has Renaissance. 13. Hands and mines FTW! 14. It goes where DDR doesn't. ITG was brave enough to put jackhammers at 303BPM in Energizer. DDR would never do that. 15. Survival and Battle mode. EDIT: I can't stop laughing! http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...783#post215783 No wonder you hate ITG! You're a DDR n00b!

I think its a tie, mostly because I'm not really that good, so I like the difficulty of ddr more, but the music in ITG is much better.

I like playing 7-9 level songs primarily and I tend to enjoy DDR more in that respect. ITG's 7-8 block stepcharts seem really uninspired and boring, while the 9's tend to be borderline 10s more than anything (except for a few of the really easy ones).
Also, I like some of DDR's more interesting stepcharts like TL100sec, Rain of Sorrow, i feel.., Xenon, and L'amour. Challenge wise, DDR's 10 footers suck. ITG's 10+ footers are actually made pretty well. Difficulty has nothing to do with it, ITG just has better-designed 10+ charts. Clockwork Genesis is a prime example.

In my opinion, ITG2 OWNS any DDR's out of the sky.
My Reasons: 1. Songs are harder and more of a challenge. DDR Songs are too easy in comparison to ITG 2. THe guy on DDR that commentates and says things like " Let's DDR " and " Select Difficulty " and " This mode is challenging " and " OH YOU'RE Doing Marvelous" is very annoying. ITG took that out and now I don't have to listen to that annoying voice that tells me if im messing up or whatever. 3. ITG has better trance music which I prefer over vocal music which DDR has tons of. 4. ITG has more edits you can put per song. For instance, can you do C450 or WaVe mode on DDR? I think not. 5. ITG has that cool machine record stuff. 6. ITG has Delirium and DDR doesnt ![]() 7. THeres an ITG machine near me and no DDR machine. 8. ITG has more use of hands ( which can be good or bad at times ) Disagree? Feel free to comment and flame me!! |
