Hmmm. How about "Human Desires That Conflict With Human Psyche." let me explain. The story is composed of the central character and several lesser characters in which the characters must choose to indulge in the desires of the world and face losing themselves in pleasure or try to stay on the straight and narrow and avoid falling into a pit of no return with thier lives.

OK, that seriously made no frickin sense at all.

Okay, but You're not supposed to explain WHY you want that topic Chrome.

Either Way, here's the topics/themes we have so far:

"Why People Live Immorally"
"Human Desires that conflict with Human Psyche"

I'll add two to this list:

"1959"
and
"Lost and Found"

So that brings the list to four themes, I would like at least ONE theme from everyone involved. You know how they work now, and you know not to explain to people how you want them used.

So we're waiting on Guido, Skika, psychic, and tokzic.

A few other pointers. Esupin, you can help me Edit. I'd still like one more editor if we could...

And Mal, you can definately get in on this if you want. I'll wait around one more day for the people who aren't responding that quickly. Tell us if you want in.

REVISED LIST OF THEME/TOPICS:

"WHY PEOPLE LIVE IMMORALLY"
"HUMAN DESIRES THAT CONFLICT WITH HUMAN PSYCHE"
"1959"
"LOST AND FOUND"

Start thinking of ideas involving these concepts people, writing will hopefully start soon!

uh... is it that hard to pick an abstract thing as a theme/topic guys? I didn't have any problem picking a year and something you hear about often....

You guys aren't stumped already, are you?

I used to always come to the CT forum, but now I'm caught up in the humor of the GB bin. Is there room for more?
I'm not incredible at writing, but I'm sure the editors can fix some of it

I'm ready to write as soon as the GB humor can die down fora moment. I still go with my topic, "Human Desires that conflict with Human Psyche."

Alright, that's 5 themes we're up to... all we need is two more. If they're not made before the end of tomorrow, we're picking topics and a writing order.

Finally. I want the formalities out of the way so we can get this shindig moving.

My suggested topic: Social isolation.

I would be intrested in this if it wasnt for a few factors

1) i seem to be getting very sick alot latley
2) i am never on the computer anymore
3) my typing skills (not my writting skills) seem to be quickly decreasing in well.. skill
and finally..
4) im not a good speller even though i am a good writter..

I'm not very much for contributing theme, but I'll give it a shot... Advancement in the perfection of test tube babies and genetic enhancements. Smooshing that and a few themes would be delightful.

Okay I've compiled a list of the suggested themes, and they are as follows:

"Human desires that conflict with human psyche"
"Social Isolation"
"Ungrounded Fears"
"1959"
"Genetic Enhancements"
"Lost and Found"
"Why People live Immorally"

So now I'm going to pick from a hat the 2 themes of our first trial run:

*time passes*

"Lost and Found"
and
"Ungrounded Fears"

These two concepts MUST somehow relate to the overall story, regardless of the characters, setting, plot, etc.

Just a reminder, the first person who's writing probably won't really have to consider any of these themes just yet, as it's the people who won't get their first chance to write until at least 3 or 4 people have that will have to think of ways to incorporate these themes in. Then again, the first writer may want to do so. Who knows?

And now, onto the list of people who're participating, and their order, also picked from a hat:

xObserveRx - 2nd
Chromer - 4th
Skikamukazi - 1st
GuidoHunter - 7th
psychic25 - 5th
The Q - 3rd
Tokzic - 8th
MalReynolds - 6th

And there you have it folks, Skika is going to start the story off. He will have till Saturday morning to start something, or it moves along to the next person.

I think that since there are 8 of us participating, we should each get 3 rounds of writing. That should be plenty. This story doesn't have to be enoromously long, but with 24 entries, it should be a decent size. Well, good luck to everyone, start thinking of those theme ideas! And most of all, start us with something great Skika!

P.S: Should we start a new thread just for the story?
