So I was reading up on Radiant Dawn and it really changes the formula up a bit. the story is divided into 4 parts, a total of 45 chapters. there will be 72 playable characters (probably about 55-60 story usable, maybe a bit less). I assume that means the max players on the big missions will be higher than the old games (they usally maxed at like 16-18 per map). The game looks like it will play just like path, except with all the cool new twists, none of which look lame at all. If u never played FE i sggest u try it now. its not for everyone but this entry is going to be epic, and u can guarentee there will be tons of tuts and an easy mode.
also ...........my wii # is 6402 0378 9900 7191 please feel free to add me. especially if u plan on getting battalion wars, SSBB, and other wifi games comeing out soon =] |

I'm just glad that Nintendo is starting to make more Wi-Fi games for the Wii because these regular games are kinda giving me Gamecube withdrawals. Also, anyone heard any updates on Mariokart Wii yet? I keep looking for links but I keep coming up with the same results.
btw synysterdill I added your friend code. add mine ↓

Radiant Dawn features two types of supports: Buddy supports and Bond supports. Buddy supports (simply called "Supports" in previous games) increase their characters' battle stats dependent on the elemental affinity and support level of both Buddies. Unlike in previous games, characters can be Buddies with any other character, but can only have one Buddy at a time. Characters in Buddy supports will have a short conversation at the beginning of each battle. Bond supports, which also appeared in Path of Radiance, are between two specific characters and are always present.
wich means even more support conversations and combinations. If a Gamecube memory card with a cleared Path of Radiance save is inserted, data can be transferred from the save file. Path of Radiance characters who have reached close to their maximum power level will receive small statistics boosts in Radiant Dawn. Character weapon ranks will also be transferred if they are higher than the default levels in Radiant Dawn. Transferred A-level supports become Bond supports in Radiant Dawn, and the support conversations unlocked can be read in a support library after the game is completed. time to train my favorite path of radiance characters. The laguz from Path of Radiance also return. They can now fight when untransformed, though they are relatively weak in this state. Laguz cannot promote, but they can reach a maximum level of 40 (instead of 20). They learn their Occult skill by using an Enlightenment scroll at Level 30 or above. The number of Laguz species has increased with a new beast known as the wolf. The game adds a new magic class, Dark Magic, a new weapon, Strike (untransformed laguz attack), and the SS weapon rank, higher than the S of previous games. Knives, which were a Skill in Path of Radiance, now have weapon ranks. With the return of Dark Magic, a second trinity of magic from the GBA Fire Emblem games has been added, which is dark beats anima (wind, thunder, and fire), anima beats light, and light beats dark. Laguz can only wield one Strike weapon, but they can upgrade it by increasing their Strike weapon rank to SS. Skills, except locked skills, can also be removed and transferred as Books. Skill capacities have been modified for beorc due to the new three-class system, and laguz have varying capacities depending on level, with some laguz having 100 capacity at maximum. The height of the landscape that characters battle in now has a direct effect on gameplay. Characters can climb up to higher levels at certain points. If a character is higher than an enemy, they will have much higher accuracy and deal more damage; conversely, if they are lower they will have much lower accuracy. just more extras... very interesting extras. i'll add you synysterdill. right now my only wi-fi game is metroid prime XD so i guess i'll have to wait to fight with you at any other wi-fi game. my friend code is : 3291 9318 2094 9137 also i know is not wii news but is shorta connected to it: Fire Emblem DS (tentative title) is the 11th installment of the Fire Emblem series and the first to feature online play. Announced in October 2007,[1] the game is for the Nintendo DS and is a remake of the first Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi.[2] The game offers a graphical enhancement from Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi as well as utilising the dual screen on the Nintendo DS and its online capabilities. The game features Marth—who appeared in Super Smash Bros Melee—as the main character of the game. The story centres on Marth as he embarks on a quest to win back the Kingdom of Altea and rescue his kidnapped sister, Ellis. Last edited by zidart; 10-23-2007 at 09:42 PM.. |

I only enjoy Fire Emblem because it almost always has an excellent story line.
I'd go Fire Emblem, but I'm more of a SRPG fan than an Mario fan. ~Tsugomaru

Add me if you want a great opponent for SSB Brawl. Don't go and tell me yours because I probably won't get around to doing it, so if you want me on your friends list, then add me. Oh, and I was the first one to put it in my siggy.

I agree. I throughly enjoyed the Fire Emblem series and the new one is high in my list of most anticipated Wii games.

Have any of the Fire Emblem games ever been Wi-Fi or multiplayer in any kind of way or has Nintendo stuck to single-player action with those games?

Hmm...well in that case I might reconsider getting that and get Guitar Hero 3. A friend told me that its Wi-Fi so at least I'll have 2 Wi-Fi games (other is Strikers Charged) to my collection before Brawl and Mariokart Wii hit the shelves.

I have made a decision. I will not buy Galaxy the day it comes out because I want a car. The only way I can get a car is if I get a job. I will also need gas money, so sorry everybody. Yes I know that this has nothing to do with any of you.

Well I have a job, have a car, have gas, and have a Wii. So I'm still gonna pick up GH3 and SM Galaxy on their release dates.

Ok now moving on to another game. Has anyone (and I repeat) heard anything new from Mariokart on the Wii besides the Wii wheel and its Wi-Fi capabilities?
