Thank you for finally recognizing, in your last post, the idea of a difference in defintion.
I have GREAT respect for ALL of our armed forces and everything they do, so please don't think that just because my definition of a sport may or may not include war by a stretch that I relegate it to the level of football. I think, to be a sport, something must be either judged in some way, or compared to someone/something else. This includes almost anything that is generally considered a sport.

well he's in too far to run away now. They can't just leave now. It's like holding on to a three point lead for the whole game and just giving up (not that was and sports are the same thing).
