FFR TCG: USA Takeover
Results It came down to state population to determine the winner, and Trumpet63 came out on top! Guest's strategy of picking lower states on the spreadsheet to not overlap with anyone worked well enough for second place, and storn42 wins Third place with 4 States Won. Code:
Trumpet63 (5) Population Total Alaska 710231 34,311,244 Arizona 6,392,017 Florida 19,552,860 Idaho 1,612,136 Missouri 6,044,000 Guest15937 (5) Michigan 9,895,622 23,336,129 South Dakota 844,877 Tennessee 6,496,000 Vermont 626,630 Wisconsin 5,473,000 California Maryland Massachusetts Utah Most Contested State: Rhode Island with 4 players playing cards on it! Closest State Victory: Trumpet's Victory in Idaho His Difficulty 4 card beat out a difficulty 3 and another players difficulty 1 to not only win the state, but be a deciding factor for his victory. Most Discarded Cards: FoxFire667 - 4 Over Two States benny58624 - 3 Over Three States Well Thanks to everyone who participated, I'll wait to distribute prizes until everyone has had a chance to look it over for mistakes. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing Last edited by PrawnSkunk; 01-26-2015 at 01:35 PM.. |

It's going to be a balancing act to grab as many states as possible. Stacking cards makes it more likely to win a state but less likely to win multiple states. Also remember you can play up to 4 cards a round, but no one has more than 6 cards yet. |

I know, I placed it out to Alaska, because it makes sense, and I placed it there first, because I want everyone to have a fair chance, as I could place at the last minute.
I say this because i already won 15k, so someone else should win 15k Oh, and I just realized it's a PM, too, so it's not final?? |

Oh, and also, when you say "Cards are discarded" Does that mean they're also not in the spreadsheet for those collections as well?

Edit:// I put a sample submission PM in the bottom of the OP Edit2:// Added this line for clarity - For Clarity: In round 2, you may still play cards on any state, either going for new states or stealing states from other players Last edited by TheSaxRunner05; 01-18-2015 at 11:55 PM.. |

Remember in round 2, you'll be able to see what everyone played in round 1 and adjust your strategy then.
That's when it'll get cutt-throat I think, over the remaining states an the high population states in consideration of the tiebreaker. |

Under 24 Hours to go, we need more people to PM me their picks. I haven't had any people pick the same state yet suprisingly!
I'm sure it'll happen before Round 2 |

I'm going to give this an extra hour because of the downtime earlier, I hope some more people PM me
People can still play Round 2 is they hadn't played round 1, but it severely hurts their chances |

Let Round 2 begin!
Here is what everyone has played so far - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing You may play up to 4 remaining cards, remember to contact VIA P.M. to conceal your move from everyone, I won't accept cards played in the thread. |

This is closing in a half hour,
there was a much more cutthroat round 2, one player got pretty much completely shafted on their Round 1 Picks Edit:// Closed, results out shortly. I have to go do some math to see who wins Last edited by TheSaxRunner05; 01-22-2015 at 09:00 PM.. |
