![]() I have been talking for a while about "publishing" an album of piano songs, songs that I have recorded over time. Well, today, I organized the songs, and uploaded them on MediaFire. In total, there are 145 unique songs in here (around 213 MB). This is a project I've done over three years, from 2012 to 2014. It's far from over, but 3 years seems like a legitimate milestone to me.
This is album is something very personal, and something I care a lot about. The recording quality is not really outstanding, and if you've taken music classes in the past, you'll see that this is nothing special in terms of music complexity. However, to me it reflects my evolution on my favorite instrument (I have come a long way!). Also, all of these songs are "first takes". Since I improvise most of the time, they really show how I felt up to certain points in my life. In 2012, I was the happiest man who ever lived, careless, and without needs. 2013, time flew by, and I didn't even feel the need to record my emotions anymore, since I took my happiness almost for granted. 2014, deep feelings of despair grew inside me unexpectedly, and after a while, I lost my girlfriend, the person I loved the most at that time. Pain, confusion, growth, reconsideration... Seeking for help, trying to understand myself, mixed feelings, it's all in there. I'm finally getting out of it, and I feel better than I ever have for a long time. This feels like a great time to share my experience. You can listen to this as relaxing music to study to, or you can listen chronologically if you want to get the story behind the man... Who knows, it might help you understanding your own feelings, if you felt the same as I did. Don't feel bad about deleting songs you don't enjoy; not all of them are good, but all of them will be there. Either way, I hope you'll enjoy this little thing I made. Have a good day. ![]() and someone asked me if I gave FFR permission... sure! Edit: Song listing (in chronological order)--- Last edited by MarioNintendo; 10-5-2014 at 09:06 PM.. |

![]() Ah nice! I love it when you can listen to an album chronologically and get a lot of meaning out of it. It's something you don't see very often in modern music imo.
Is there anyway that you could give us a chronological song list? :3

![]() You don't expect songs titled O Canada & Titanic on Flute to be ever serious haha
As an improv archival it's pleasantly diversified. Scattered throughout are some interesting segments and it'd be a nice experiment to scavenge the barebones of an album out of it. Really liked the textures in Sadcaro and later songs for a reason. Also, there's something about Dagdore that livens up my day. Last edited by Crazyjayde; 10-5-2014 at 03:46 PM.. |

![]() This seems absolutely intriguing...
I'm downloading it as we speak, considering I also favor the Piano over any instrument (Typically because the sound of the Piano is completely soothing), I'd like to see how you transitioned over the course of 2012-2014. Emotions are everything when it comes to Piano, if you ask me, so seeing a chronological order of songs will be amazing. Will provide feedback after I listen to them! /hyped |

![]() Truly great things here, I really feel like these are the auditory forms of expressive paintings. They certainly build imagery that leads me to believe it. Great collection

![]() I have had a pretty busy semester, and therefore haven't been able to compose a lot. However, I came up with these two tracks I hope you will enjoy. Ma muse was recorded in February, and Wisdom this very morning. Both are, as you would expect, improvised. Let me know your comments, they're always welcome!

![]() I was just gonna sample one of those tracks cause I had to go to bed and I ended up listening to both full songs and now I'm downloading your collection. Simply amazing! Someone needs to step these cause I would play the shit out of them. They could be like the new TGWP, only The Games Mario Played.
