![]() click to download PREVIEW VIDEO: No easier difficulties yet; they'll come later. 200 BPM, has a run in the middle of the song that lasts 15 measures, with some moderate movement. Outside of that, the chart is relatively straight-forward. The second repeat of the melody actually has 24th note blips, but I opted out of using them in the chart for scoring purposes. Yeah, it was incredibly rigid with the 24ths in. I think I made the right decision.

I tested it and i think a bit more could have done with some sounds without affecting playability too much, maybe put the 24ths in as the harder chart?

I opted out of the 24ths for scoring (see first post). It was -way- too rigid for my liking. When it came to that ending, I basically thought of a player FFC'ing to the end only to get raped by the 24ths despite being correct with the music, rofl. So, I decided to just use 16ths and fill in the appropriate steps.

Oh, alright. Yeah, there were a few things that I initially had in the original (15) chart. There was actually a shorter 16th stream after the little cooldown following the 15-measure stream, which was laced with a lot of candle-stepping, but I removed it. *shrug*
I also didn't really feel like following a lot of the background percussion in most sections -- I like having a really clear cut chart. The Hard chart somewhat follows percussion (in contrast to the stream, but that was all just to avoid the stream as it is). I guess I was really picky with how I wanted this chart to come out. *shrug* |

So yeah, I just played the chart, and my suspicion from earlier was confirmed.
You force a pretty nasty doublestep/crossover thing going into the holds at around ~1:00 right after the bursts. Overall, it was really fun, and I really love the song so its probably something Ill play once in a while. Score was 90.17%, will upload vid later. Oh and I guess if I had one more gripe, I didnt really care for some of the patterns in the stream very much, but it wasnt bad enough to take away from the chart a lot.

I thought it was just an intentional doublestep when I watched the chart, but I just played it, and if you play on anything above like, 620, it's pretty surprising.

sorry, I was supposed to be at work today but I got sent home, lol.
Let me look at this again -- it's really odd for me to put a double-step in a chart because I'm typically pretty careful. EDIT: I just double-checked the chart, and I'm not seeing anything anywhere -- mind showing me where in the video it is? EDIT: oh, I see what you're talking about. That's not a double-step, though, it's just a change in direction. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 07-8-2013 at 06:04 PM.. |

Uhhh well I mean in both practicing in air, and playing on pad, it kind of turned into Oasis for those couple notes. I mean I'll try it again, but the way the jump is situated after the burst, unless you turn your body in an unnatural direction to hit it, I don't think it's a direction turn.

Just so I'm certain, you're referring to this, right?
![]() ![]() ...if so, there's no double-stepping there. The LU D U is left-facing, then the L D right after it faces you right, into the DU jump. |
