yea i looked up some of his old scores, his MA was actually really damn solid haha. i mostly remember just a handful of speed scores (and something like 50s on cetaka's op v2). anyway yeah i like the look/sound of a flat keyboard since i've done really well on those super slim mac keyboards and the ultraX is a pretty proper price (as are the Dynexes). might be onto something here! i'll do some reading up and probably order one as a christmas gift to myself, thanks ya guys
