Your idea on the Atom Bomb is just changing the form of the matter from its present form to dust, thus not removing it completely.

Tosh the penguin on the right of your av is fake.

And matter cannot be destroyed.

We think it might turn into energy... but there is also a theory that the atom particles and parts of the nucleus fly out in all directions because of the positive vs positive charge in the nucleus of the targeted atom... and get lost and the energy is actually coming simply from the magnetic repulsion caused by that positive vs positive repulsion.

When the nuclei of something like uranium, which is massive, is broken, it results in multiple nuclei of helium and lead... but I do think some of the particles fly off.

They can pass right through walls, so it's understandable that they might get lost or just float around/join nearby atoms.

As for particles of atoms flying out, there is a chance that a certain particle from the initially destroyed atom could fly into the nucleus of another atoms and split that... and as you split more atoms, they split more which split more, so it's a huge chain reaction that could lead to the destruction of the entire planet. Any chain beyond 3-4 atoms gets VERY dangerous, and you can't control it.

This reaction is kinda like what they did in Spider-man 2 if you've seen that movie... they have it kinda wrong though and I think they may have been doing fusion, not fission.

Yeah but it's still funny as hell.

As for the matter discussion, after all this, I really don't care anymore, but feel free to continue to argue among yourselves, I quit.

I didnt bother to look at it hard enough to notice I just saw two penguins and one slapping the other down. Anyway, as of this matter discussion, I couldnt care less anymore, so Kain, u didnt need to type a novel about matter.
