Oh my, that is nuts. Good darn luck to you awein!
This token should be called the FFR Sampler. ![]() Probably can't be any better way to begin a full appreciation of what FFR has to offer. |

Sampler implies a choice selection of genres, lengths and difficulties.
This is the whole goddamn smorgasbord. (go for it awein!) |

Actually, it's because rushyrulz made a rule that you need to be able to do the token requirement before it can be approved.
So awein is proving that it can be done, haha. |

Mina's more of a buzz kill than Buzz Killington...
Awien have fun with this man. I don't think luck is required for this, but your dedication's pretty admirable. |

Last song tonight was Emotions. I got to 500 combo exactly without a run ending mistake. I'll be back in the evening sometime tomorrow. Thanks a lot for the support guys. It's fantastic.

Wait, so if you fail a song, you have to start the entire thing all over?
That's...harsh.

im pretty sure that analogy is supposed extend to making the point that it takes far more dedication commitment and skill to become good enough at the game to do this in the first place (even though i bet that i could train a toddler to play this game up to 9s and quad mash pass the rest (read: this takes very little skill))
and given that there's no time limit he could do it over the course of a year and play whatever else on another account i dont see any accomplishment value there im not saying he should stop or w.e because obviously it's his choice and if he's streaming it probably serves some entertainment value (who's gonna sit and watch someone on stream play a 5 min rock song at 5 tps when they're capable of aaa'ing 13s idk???), i'm just saying treating it like the most amazing thing to happen in modern rhythm gaming is just stupid Last edited by MinaciousGrace; 01-14-2012 at 11:42 AM.. |

Really happy you took me seriously
(no sarcasm intended) I'm not exactly saying it's the most amazing thing in the world either, and I know it could be done over the course of a year if you really wanted to but even then it's taking a year to do something. It's not exactly huge, but I don't think it's absolutely minuscule either. Also, I just meant commitment to play this for 39+ hours, I know you don't have to be amazing at this game to do this. |

No resets, no clicking mistakes. It's a test of deliberation, commitment and more than anything, long term concentration. 1024 songs in a row without a missclick, or game failing mistake. Also have to remember to take the correct ss's all the time. It's a different type of skill from "ffr skill" but it takes a lot of skill. You'd be surprised how easy it is to accidentally click away, have something pop up while playing, accidentally have your hands on the wrong keys (I did that once for my right hand and recovered).
I also find it interesting that a lot of people are technically capable of passing every song. It's different from bill in a day in that respect. Bill takes more FFR skill but this is an entirely different objective that isn't really comparable. To say that "it takes very little skill" is downright wrong. Edit: starting up again within 35 minutes. Edit2: also no one has ever tried something like this before in ffr's history. So in that aspect it's a unique challenge, therefore interesting.
