I'm very glad you excluded D3 from the final round

Haha yeah D3's file is a Brutality Tournament type of chart that totally would've caused problems with the cumulative scoring system this tournament used
Anyways, updated spreadsheets to this point, WSCB is behind hi19hi19 by 5 points and RadiantVibe is only in the lead in D1A by a few goods worth. |

So there's still a little over 2 hours left before the encore round ends but I've figured out how the credit distribution will work.
D1: 110,000 D2: 110,000 D3: 110,000 D1B: 40,000 D1A: 70,000 D2B: 50,000 D2A: 60,000 D3B: 60,000 D3A: 50,000 D1B - 3 players (p = 6, 6000-14000-20000) D1A - 5 players (p = 15, 4000-8000-15000-18000-25000) D2B - 5 players (p = 15, 3000-7000-10000-13000-17000) D2A - 6 players (p = 21, 2000-5000-9000-12000-15000-17000) D3B - 4 players (p = 10, 4000-12000-20000-24000) D3A - 3 players (p = 6, I don't count, 8000-17000-25000) Total: 330,000 D3 results D3B: 1st - yo man im awesome 2nd - XXXsmittyXXX 3rd - Ninty64 4th - justin_ator D3A: 1st - xXOpkillerXx 2nd - EzExZeRo7497 3rd - samurai7694 Also, my run on D3's encore if anyone is interested One more thing, some general feedback questions: - How were the files? ("bad" doesn't really help if you don't explain why, and if it's because you didn't use a good offset to sync the file to your liking, that's also a poor excuse) - What was the file you liked the most in your division? The song you liked most in your division? The song/file you liked most throughout the entire tournament? - Any suggestions for a "single genre" tournament in the future? To answer my own question about my personal favorite songs from each division: D1 - Steppin' At Your Own Pace (Nostalgia factor on this is through the roof) D2 - Re-Hash D3 - Rap Beat Instrumental I've received comments about a dubstep-themed tournament in the future, anything else could also be taken into consideration. |

1. Okay considering what the songs gave you. Hip hop is not a particularly innovative or rhythmically diverse genre rofl
With vocals, it's hard to strike the right balance between being on sync and not being overly obnoxiously dicksynced, and you were more or less there for the D2 files. 2. Favorite song and file was PPP, and probably the most fun throughout the tournament as well lol (didn't play many of the D3 files but from the looks of it, it was fast anchor jacks or bzzzt... nty) Though re-hash was pretty nice too 3. Someday I will do an epic music tournament. If you want to collab with me/beat me to the punch on doing that, I would totally support you ![]() Metal tournament, of course, would be an easy and fun one to step for too.

Loved Session. It may be due to the heavy jacks in other files but I found that one to be very intresting to play and there was many different patterns in it (64th staircase, stream wall, long trills, jacks, bursts...) GG guys ! I should've been 2nd tho, considering luis would've played every round but w/e :3

I enjoyed Slim Shady. That felt well stepped, making it fun to play and whore for a good score. It was also a familiar song. The other files felt meh. No hate (Aside from my own disliking of jacks in general), but nothing spectacular.
The tournament itself was well organized <3

Don't think this score will put me up by much, but least I tried.

I'm not the best at jacky/heavily-layered files, but I gave the file a few tries. I was going to bother not even posting, but I decided not to be a poor sport and post my score anyways. The FC is definitely out of my league for this one, I'm surprised I even managed to get the combo that I got.
![]() I also played the D1 encore for fun since I noticed it was labelled as an 11. ![]() ![]() Oh and some feedback: -I enjoyed most of the files for most part. I didn't like having the play with the offset until the sync was right, but that's not a big issue. I thought D2's encore was a bit overly layered and I didn't care for it, but that's just my personal opinion. My favorite chart in my division would probably be UDU Shuffle, mostly because I enjoy gallopy charts and I don't see those types of charts to often. Also Re-Hash was pretty good, it allowed me to quit whining about jacks and AAA the darn thing. xD As for the next genre-themed tourney, metal would be cool, maybe some soft rock, please though, don't do country. ;~; (There are a few country songs that I enjoy, but I typically don't like the genre as a whole.) EDIT: Oh and yes, the tourney felt like it was run very smoothly. Every question I had could be answered in the OP like it should be, the updated the spreadsheet frequently enough, and the OP was nice and tidy. I also enjoy all the fine-detail for every chart when you post the new rounds, it's interesting to see how many framers each chart has and stuff like that. Worth noting as well that the tournament was run very professionally, as always.
Pretty clear you've done this before, everything went smoothly.

I got lucky in that the last two rounds were really my type of file. This could have gone very differently for sure had the files not been what they are. You came damn close regardless, too!

Cool tourney overall.
Was expecting a really hard song to be in play but knowing that it'll be AAA-oriented I'm not too surprised that there isn't a really hard song though. (Songs that I barely DDG, etc.) |

Great tournament Dossar, my favorite song was Real Slim Shady cuz Eminem is the best and the chart went really well with the beat. Maybe you can run an Epic Trance tourney in the future. |
